Why does it say the Dojo Edition is " NOW AVAILABLE " ? Is this an error ?

Looks like it’s back in stock!

None of the unlocked exclusive costume codes are listed for any of the dealers…did they discontinue these, because it looks like they just opted for the $10 gift certificates.

If i order from these sites, do I get the extra costumes??

Streetfighter 4 wasn’t officially street-dated, although it had an official release date.
I got my copy of SF4 a week early at a Game-Stop Retail Store.

So the real question is, is Super officially street-dated?

Edit-
I could be wrong but that’s just what I assumed. Many people were getting early copies from game stop claiming the game had no real street-date.

The Costume Pack pre-order bonus are only available from these retailers: Best Buy (US), Amazon (US), Game.co.uk (UK) and EBGames.com.au (AU). If you order from anywhere else, you won’t get the costume pack.

That’s pretty sweet, really good prices.

my bad, they did have the x360 one in black too, just with a typo so i didnt see it

seems others have though as it, along with all the others, are taken, all pre order stock is gone =O

here is the link anyway

So no word on any sort of midnight releases anywhere huh? You’d think they’d try to do something like that.

Unfortunately midnight releases are based on volume of reserves, or immense popularity of the title. Stuff like the Halo and GTA titles get 'em just because game stores typically pull in 50+ pre-orders. I called around my area (greater Milwaukee, WI) and none of the GameStops are saying they’ve got more than 15-20 pre-orders. For those stores, however, it can be a general manager decision to midnight release a game, so… if you have a bunch of friends who will pre-order with you (like, 50 friends) then you might be able to convince one.

Can’t wait until TE S are $99.99

Amazon now has a Release-Date Delivery option!

(360) - Pre-Order $39.99 w/Free Shipping + $10 Video Games Credit
(PS3) - Pre-Order $36.99 w/Free Shipping + $10 Video Games Credit

I’m pretty sure it will work the same as SFIV on the PS3 consoles, why put more work into games that aren’t region locked and technically an “upgrade”.
I won’t be sure until May 5th though, SSFIV comes out on the 28th so I won’t be getting my copy until the 5th(Processing and EMS shipping takes atleast 6 days).

Regarding the free costume bonus, is that the only way to get those particular costumes, or will they be available for purchase along with the other alternate costumes? And there’s no way to get the costume bonus from a physical retail store, only online right?

^ I’m sure you’ll be able to purchase the costumes as well online, likely for $4.00 per pack of 5, similar to Vanilla. When Vanilla came out the Brawler costume pack (the one they gave out codes for with its pre-orders) was available Day 1 if I recall correctly… if not day 1, within a week or two of release. While the code got you that pack for free, folks who did not get the code could download the pack by paying.

And it seems there aren’t any “redeem cards” like you’re thinking of - closest I recall seeing was Best Buy’s pre-order bonus, stating the code would print on your receipt. Sites like Amazon are doing an “e-mail within 2 days” code.

Ah, didn’t know Vanilla had pre-order costume bonuses, too. Then it makes sense that these costumes will be available for purchase, too. Thanks.

I’m sure it would work like SFIV’s collector’s edition with a sheet of paper and a code for the online store to download from(XBL Market Place/PSN Store). Problem was PSN updated their content every Thursday so a lot of people were confused why their code didn’t work when they got it on release date.

does anyone know any sites that are selling the pre order tshirts seperatly? as shopto are selling the sim tee

Has anyone ordered release date stuff from Play Asia before? I want to get the US version this time around to make DLC stuff easier for me, but I also don’t want to wait forever. (I’m living in Asia.)
