Someone tested this, it stilll whiffs on some characters

Yeah on console I just d.hk slide under seths sonic booms never tried it on guile’s. would be cool if Guy could slide under all projectiles!

Fireball invisibility means you don’t absorb it. So ex run slide looks like you’re dodgin but like the ex run overhead in super, you simply don’t get hit by the projectile.

As for dodging seths sonic booms with the HK slide in super, that sounds interesting and i’ll have to test that myself.

I have a question…I was looking at the new hitbox for Guys st. jab and I was wondering why would capcom extend the height of its hitbox? Better for anti-air? Is that the only reason?

Well now it wouldn’t be a bad idea to use it as an AA depending on the situation. And I imagine it will make contact with more of the cast when they’re crouching.

The MP buff is where it’s really at. I love it. I wish Ground Kontrol would get some cabinets. :frowning:

one bad jump in can certainly turn the tables.

I believe Guy’s new stLp is made to deal with Dive kick charicters (Yun, Yang), since theirs more of them this time around. Some time I like using stLp against Cammy and Rufus players just to discourage them from doing dive kick to much. Guy’s new stMp is made, I think, for better Poke range and Whiff Punishing. Also if Ultra 1 is faster, then is crHp into Ultra 1 now possible out side of counter hit??

pretty easy to hit confirm too. if in corner do c.lk, c.lk xx ex.hozanto, hk.tatsu

Obey did u do that in AE? Is the link hard? And is it situational? That’s a good buff if it works on everyone and is not too hard. They probably increased hitstun.

yeah I did it a couple of times. it’s a bit hard to land the lk, but its easy to hit confirm

doesn’t seen situational because I was in range for two more lk’s and it wasn’t on their wake up

Good to hear. Just when we thought we know the changes for AE guy, we find out about stuff like this which can be quite a game changer.

Also run overhead gets hit by sakuras hadoken in super…

hey guys, test some bushinryu mix ups with run xx overhead when pressuring so you can do TC which they will block and cancel to run xx hk and see if you can connect cr.lk from that range.

Mix ups became much more powerful now cause you can condition your opponent to block low or high and either use bushin flip if they block high, for more damage or run xx overhead combo for another knockdown and good damage nonetheless. I’m looking forward to AE guy

this combo should work on everyone when Run xx hk connects… but

run hk will whiff after target combo on rufus,adon,blanka,females & ??? cant remember

run hk has been buffed on hit definitly and that 3 frame cr.lk will help to link combo.

is that target combo point blank that it will miss or just in general

I also noticed that you can’t punish Viper’s whiffed/blocked hp.thunder knuckle with s.lp.

Although my timing could have been off, I never landed it once in about 5 matches against a viper
