So we can now punish some moves with st.LP, cr.MK, SA or something even better instead of st.LP, SA!? I know Alioune zones a lot with st.LP.
cr.lp, far st.lp, close st.mp, are all +6.
cr.mp is also likely +6 if the Famitsu notes were correct about cr.mp -> cr.mk comboing.
Sako said close st.lp is +7 at least, so he must have linked a sweep or something to come up with that figure.
Two 1-frame links for 189 dmg (or 219 if you start with CS)? I know it sets up more ambiguous oki but that’s pretty bad.
Replacing cr.lp with close st.mp bumps that combo up by 50 dmg, and delaying the j.lk by 1F so you can combo the st.mp doesn’t make the mixup much easier to see. Due to less pushback on st.mp this should work on more characters too.
I wonder if her focus attack has more priority (that would be great if it’s now like Fei Long or Chun-Li :dream: ).

so… Cammy’s new gameplay is to basically walk up and spam normals while mixing in the occasional Spiral Arrow Chip. I’ll still main her anyway I’ll try to find a way around it.

My friend in SoCal had some pretty good info on what’s happening. He said that the SA rarely hits twice, even in combos. He believes Sim is the best in the game because all his matchups got nerfed pretty badly (especially Cammy). Akuma vs gief matchup is like 9-1 in Akuma’s favor now, Bison can’t use his frametrap mid screen anymore… yeah I don’t know you guys I think I’m going to start practicing Viper in case Cammy can’t hold her own anymore. Or Yang.
