I might pick up el fuerte soon, maybe i can give you some practice off him when i get better with this character. It’ll help us both out on the el fuerte matchup lol, im pretty sure ill record matches if they turn out to be good.

Yesterday I decided to start using viper, might as well start using elfuerte, I am not planing to change my main Guile, but I am thinking that if I am able to use these 2 at a regular decent level, whenever I face a good elf-viper I will be better at guessing or recognizing their bullshit.
btw Viper is damn hard to use, lol

But you know Guile, so you shouldve used that general knowledge that you do have about Guile and gave it your best shot.
Picking some random char cause he supposedly beats Fuerte that you obviously didn’t play properly and without knowing that matchup gives you even less chances of winning than just sticking it outn with your main char who has a bad matchup against Fuerte.
Again, counterpicking is counterproductive if you don’t actually know how and why it’s a counterpick. You need know that matchup too and have experience in it.

I dont think it is a bad idea, I mean, I like to watch videos of dagger, gilley, lamberboi, warahk, etc because they are above my level . I dont see anything wrong with “us” new guiles or not that expert guiles posting our own videos, if anything I would really like feedback (so far I have gotten very little in my posts). And I feel sad for the members that have posted their own videos here and noone including me gave them a single feedback. I’ll spend some time this afternoon watching your video and giving you my impressions.

nice man. one thing id like to suggest is baiting and punishing devils reverse, your friend seems pretty fond of it. bisons will almost never head stomp mid screen because mid screen head stomp sucks, if you can get him to devils reverse with a fake boom you can punish with ex boom, or bazoka knee u2 at certain ranges.
if bison throws out U2 and you dont have enough time to jump out of the way do a flash kick right before it hits (2:29 in your video). i have no idea what you did to make his ultra stop, but that was weird. in that situation you couldve charged flash kick during the freeze frame and hit him out of his ultra. this is also useful when you boom as bison U2’s.

well played man. I saw more than 4 times how you jumped for the airgrab and he escaped from it doing devil reverse. I would have switched to j.mp by the third time I saw my guile missed the air throw, not sure which has more range but I would have tried it. I liked how you ended the round with c.mp to SH. I thought he was gona jump forward at take the round. he just blocked it. GG
yeah people still dont realize you can just jump in after the freeze frame
BTW. The dagger games against that Honda were insane. I cant believe how dagger managed to get like 30% of his life just from chip damage in the corner. His timing-buffering on SB is amazing. And I just love how he bazoka knees himself to the right spot to throw another. I think dagger has the best corner pressure.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I was hoping I had enough time to jump out of it so I just mashed jump-away and probably some buttons. Holding down when I see that Ultra goes against my instinct so I’ll have to work on breaking that but thanks for that tip and the punish devil’s reverse thing. I kept hoping that I could air grab it before he hit me but it didn’t work and I didn’t adjust quick enough.
