And hmm, no one in europe right ? Could use some help i’m a shitty G1 player loosing to people i should beat ten times…
Vs Parallel Quicks (Quicks)
Had a good Chun Li but I feel that there is a lot of room for improvement. I jumped in on you all day so you need to work on your AA (maybe EX SBK?) You had some BnB’s down nicely though and when you got the chance, you hit me with them. You utilised her sweep well which I believe is her best poke.
Overall, work on your execution a bit more and definately work on your defence a bit more. You gave away far too many easy hits and I had far too many easy jump ins.
GG’s and I hope we play each other again!
martinrob vs. ironman1478
gg’s, to bad we couldn’t get more games in though , i have the video of the three games we played. .
Hopefully we can play more games and i can give you some tips. Thanks for the tips.
Vs. Eyelovesf4: (20-5)
(Ryu vs. Ryu)
Great gaming. You really outplayed me. I’d say your best weapon is your zoning. You really presured me to jump with your fireballs and punished me when I did. Something you should improve is teching throws.
Dag Kyarisan, what a mean critique…
Someone game me up today!!! I think I need a rematch with Mr.SNK soon…
There are several people from Europe. Check the first post for the full roster list and their general locations.
PS. If you ever find yourself losing to people you feel are truly less skilled than you, than you need to go back to your basics. The less skilled the player, the more different and simple you should play. Make the game easier for yourself.
ie. They keep doing unsafe jump-ins and you miss a couple of AA SRK and eat a j.hk, cr.hk combo. You do that a few times and your down to like 30% health. Either block it and punish after or do easier AA like cr.HP (or whatever AA normals your character has).
However, sometimes what appears to be a bad player is just a player that really knows how to get in on you. I don’t normally jump in that much, but if you don’t AA a random attempt I throw in, I’m going to start jumping more and more until I feel its unsafe. So, if you played me and didn’t AA and just ate the jump ins, I’ll end up looking like a scrub that just jumps all day, but it was really because of your actions that made me play that way.
Tournament Brackets updated again. Please get your matches going.
lol very harsh. At least he gave him a critique, I didn’t get one after we had fought ;] - but it’s that kind of h8 that levels you up. lol
Exactly, that’s why I don’t pull any punches on my critiquing.
martin your friends with cloudedxephyer, lol. that guy talked mad shit to me in marvel. but then when i put it to him he stfu’d and then left the room. was prety funny. ive been trying to get some games in with you for a while martin, but now that i know you play ryu, i can wait a bit. play too many of those, however ironman you have a fresh character. ill be hitting you up very soon.
Phatal vs Bey Bass
2nd RD tournament
Bey Bass wins 5-3
Overall it was some really close matches, although you started to heat up towards the end. Can’t say if that was me losing my drive, or you just stepping it up. Either way I was dissappointed for going up 3 games and not being able to stop your momentum. You did a good job overall, but I feel like you didnt use the wide variety of Akumas moves. Like you only used demon flip a few times, and that’s a tactic i know wouldve threw me for a loop. You did use teleports extremely well, making it frustrating when i’d go for a crossup only to have you teleport. That’s prolly why you thought I didnt crossup much. I did in the first few matches, but then you started teleporting, making my attempts futile.
you did a good job of zoning with air fireballs and ground fireballs, but i never really felt pressured. So id work on your mixups and keeping the pressure up.
But overall you’re a really solid Akuma player. I think the matches couldve went either way though, especially since i was mucho tired and could notice i wasnt playing my best towards the end. GGs though, hope to play again sometime.

who am i playing in the losers bracket? i dont see my name down there
You are so technical and helpful it comes off as being nice. You aint never been like “TRY AGAIN KIDO, HAHAHAHAH!!!” That was the most harsh critique on here, not saying it wasn’t true though. Haven’t played SabeZ’s Akuma but he got a great Ryu.
On the real you gotta give me another shot at your Honda some time this week. I feel a little bit more confident playing better hondas and I wanna see if I can get 2 matches on you this time.:china:
I am pretty sure we have played before… But , I have a pretty shitty memory so who knows. Yeah i added couldedxephyr from this thread but haven’t got a chance to play him yet.
KillaKelly did you do any Championship mode last night?
I could sworn I played you yesterday.
Maybe I’m going insane o_O
You played Bey Bass in the loser’s and according to your post, you lost. That means you’ve been eliminated.
vs SICK MENS
Sakura
Good versatility with Sakura, but your attacks are very predictable. So were your throws (which weren’t tick throws, only reason I fell for some was because of extreme lag.)
Pretty good combos, but you can use training in execution to not whiff on some ultra llinks.
PROS:
- Aggressive
-versatility
-decent combos
CONS:
-very predictable
-no tick throws
-missed ultras, bad execution, need to work on punishment
Cammy
You use Cammy well, and your execution seems more on point with her. You do however become spike-kick happy, and your moves become extremely predictable.
Try mixing various moves, use more normals to start combos, the drill kick you use EX version way too much (i forget the names of the moves, but you know what i mean…i caught you with Ultra numerous times because you would just do an EX drill kick, when i wasn’t even approaching you)
Use more focus attacks, Cammy’s focus attack is pretty decent.
Execution. Ultra and other means of punishment need to be on point.
PROS:
-execution with spike kick (the uppercut one) very good, but at times too eager to use it.
-Good walk-up throws.
CONS:
-no focus attacks,
-execution & punishment or AA very weak, need to get your Ultra and other combos trained to do this consistently
-very very predictable: I knew if i got you with an Ultra for example, that if i stood there for 2 seconds, blocking, you would try to retaliate with your Ultra…try to use your Ultra and EX moves when i’m least expecting it
-no cross-ups
-no tick throws
-decent tech throws (i think lag screwed us both up on that part)
Overall, you should be pretty good if you hit the training room, practice combos, and just continue to train against players: Get a good feel for when they whiff, and punish. Try to mix up your attacks, don’t always do the same one over and over hoping to hit eventually…mix it up with throws, use focus attacks, use your spike kick as good Anti-Air, but don’t become trigger happy with it. Learn to play mind games with your Cammy & Sakura.
Cammy can be a very respectable foe, and Sakura is capable of destroying Top Tier characters. Take a look at their forums and look for some insane Sakura vids.
LOL, I’m never gonna player match Kyarisan until I at least can sort of use my stick, which looks like it’ll be NEVER at this point.
Yo Briefcasemanx
Don’t think like that bro…I have a madcatz SE stick but I don’t use except for 1 time. I went to a local tourney here in Land O lakes Fl and I came in 2nd place and the only reason I came in 2nd place cause at the finals I use my arcade stick instead of the xbox 360 controller that took me to the finals.
In other words what I’m trying to say is that until I get my parts that I order to replace the stick and buttons in the SE to Sanwa parts I’m not using the SE madcatz stick. Just keep training and practicing…my mistake was that instead of putting the 360 control down and just played with the arcade stick I stuck with the controller and thats not good so now I have to practice twice as hard to catch up when I get my xbox from mocrisoft(RROD). But keep going bro don’t give up!!!
