Another IRC alternative, mibbit, works as well - I think it’s more customizeable than the native chat for those that dislike the web interface but don’t want to bother with a dedicated client…

It might be helpful to include our Mii names in the front post as well. Especially since not all of us match our SRK profiles.

Hey everyone. Nice job last night. A couple of issues did pop up. Which is good. It’s important to get this stuff out of the way and some important things were discovered.
First off, it seems not everyone was able to join the IRC last night. Several were locked out or settled in the wrong chat room. I highly encourage you to figure this out by next Friday. @Cyntalan should be able to help you out.
Second, I was able to engage in a team battle with @Unsaxon51, @orochizoolander, and @AYO!?. I never did get where AYO!? was from, but Unsaxon was across the country from OZ and myself. We had items on, everything was crazy, and still the internet was pretty decent. This means there’s not much of a reason to suspect the game to be fully unplayable in lag or anything. Excellent!
Third, while you can add your friend codes and name them according to their online profile, their original ID will trump what name you give them. As Unsaxon pointed out above, I named his profile Unsaxon51 when adding him, but online he showed up as Doublie. In light of this, please give us your Nintendo ID name for later. Hopefully this should cut down on some confusion. I will add your profile name to the front page near your FC
Fourth, even if you’re not in the league, if you like to talk with your opponent when you battle, I highly recommend using the IRC.
