So I’ve just made a glossary on what I’ll be calling the various aspects of the game to keep with the theme (left) compared to what they’re more commonly known as (right). Hopefully this should avoid any confusion when the game starts. Note that some of these (such as Forgery and Fraudulence) won’t be shown in the actual write-ups, just in the character roles/abilities.
(Court is) Ajdourned - Night time
(Court is) In-Session - Day time
(Player) is Guilty - Lynch: (Player) — N.B. You don’t actually have to use this method to lynch someone, I just thought it’d be cool if the Jury said it in this format to keep with the theme. Both ‘(Player) is Guilty’ and ‘Lynch: (Player)’ will be accepted as votes.
Elite Detective - Undercover
Evidence Counterfeit - Option 2
Evidence Theft - Option 1
Foolish Detective - Dumb Undercover
Forgery - [NO KILL]
Fraudulence - [SACRIFICE]
Jury Member - Regular Civilian
Last Will and Testament - Last Gasp
Phoenix Wright: Judge, Jury and Executioner - Name of the game
Rogue Prosecutor - Vigilante
Spirit Medium - Medic
The Bottomless Pit - Loser’s Lounge
The Corrupt - Mafia
The Jury - Civilians
Turnabout Dilemma - Mafia pre-game choice
Visor Batteries - Stock kills
I also am somebody who has never played a Phoenix Wright game, but I look forward to seeing the PW abbreviation confusing me for my user name all game long
If you haven’t played a mafia game before, definitely check out some of the other game threads. The last game was a bit all over the place, but the Wild West and the Zombie games were pretty good places to get a feel for the game
@GodotsRevenge: After you are announced “dead,” you will be able to write whatever you want in a single PM. It can be as short as 1 word, or as long as a 3-page essay. In fact, I have seen people making a youtube video for their LG in the past, and it was actually pretty cool.
I tried a Phoenix Wright game before, just couldn’t get into it. Pretty sure this is gonna get tomatoes thrown at me. An advanced “fuck you” to those people.
