Its like seriously you cant believe this 14 year old little boy fought with this big ass 35 year old dude, stole his revolver and shot twice without having his shit snapped up.
The thing that really was annoying was the magician stuff though.
Like you said it fits in the story so you can get a good glimpse of how fucked up the current law system is(the reason for Phoenix wrights secret mission)
The thing you also describe is why I dont feel this is up to par with the phoenix wright games.
Although enjoyable the fact that you are not really going against anyone in this game and you are so walked through it by the prosecution being seriously like a guide doesn’t give the same satisfaction as the others. I know you had mia and what not but I feel like you had to figure out much more difficult cases in the other games. Still good though.
Also am I the only one that doesn’t really like Ema in this game.

[details=Spoiler]Ema’s just a grouch. It’s pretty sad really. Seeing the perky, happy girl from previous game turn into a bitter young woman. Hopefully Nick getting reinstated and Edgeworth returning brightens her mood a bit. But she’ll never be happy as long as she isn’t a forensic specialist.
As for AJ being easier, idk, I guess. Tiala trying to be the next Dahlia didn’t go well at all and a Smuggling Case is a bit boring. Mainly, we just have a lack of sympathy for a lot of the victims which doesn’t help when it comes to motivation.
Klavier being a guide rather than douchey also takes away from it some, but I feel it was necessary to show that not ALL prosecutors are assholes. Yeah, Edgeworth isn’t either but it took all of AA1 to break that shit down. And I like Franziska but she definitely leans towards bitchiness as well. Sometimes Prosecutors from the start, just want to help people.
With this new punk in the next game, we should definitely get more antagonism.[/details]
She’s grouchy most of the time, but I think it worked well. She doesn’t seem hateful, just bummed out or annoyed. She lights up like a Christmas tree when you need a footprint or Luminol test though. Ideally, Gumshoe’s back as the main detective and Ema is a forensic scientist who assists with some cases in Dual Destinies.
I mean, I UNDERSTAND why she is how she is. She certainly could’ve turned out worse considering the context. But it’s still sad to see her so grouchy and bitter at all.
