5mp but sadly auto focus. Nice coversation starter however I am interested in a new digital SLR and just wondering if the wise sage like SRK can suggest one for me. My old Pentax MZ-50 has served me well in the past and Iād like to stay with the brand, but just wondering if there is any other brand worth switching to or shifting my alliances.
What Iām looking for:
Potentially some sort of quality I can exhibit. Mainly for my own house if I want to blow up something something particularly nice.
What is the max amount of MP I should be looking for? Basically semi-pro stuff.
Are there any lists I should consider ether online or in mags in order to help out with my decision? Should I get any older models to save cost and not necessarily get this years top of the line model?
What other questions should I be asking for when looking for a new camera?
As always any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone, Iām back. Messed with a few long exposures during a business trip. And breaking in PSE 8, which I bought recently. Constructive criticism is welcomeā¦ Iām not photoshop savvy and I need help with composure 
A lot of these I just liked because I like taking long exposures at night, haha. Glad I brought my tripodā¦ and I just found out (when processing these) that PSE corrects the blown out pixels my camera has during long exposures! Yay! The framing could use work though, I know. Thanks for looking!

Just wanted to share an old link from strobist.
Good setup for Christmas morning or parties. I had a gift exchange at my house and used a similar setup and the lighting was great. Basically use 2 strobes in different corners of the room, pointing straight up. Experiment with the power and adjust before shooting.

Damn, I feel like Iām spamming, but no one else is posting. Anyway, I just shot another event last Friday for Chinese new years. The one all in black is Tracey DeLara and the one in red is Kira DeLara. Theyāre both sister, Filipina (I knowā¦ donāt ask).
Unfortunately, I had to use iso 3200 for this event because the venue wasnāt as well lit as the previous ones and these were pop acts, dancing and moving nonstop. I really need to get a new dslr soon. My xti doesnāt do 3200 well and to even get iso3200, I had to use hacked firmware.:wasted:
