No one. I would’ve just waited for how the Day Phase plays out. I don’t think there’s much point in considering that since the choice of stopping a Last Gasp should vary greatly on how the game plays out.
Now if we’re talking who would I pick now…well I wouldn’t have wasted it on Azure just because it was so early. Synonym would be the most likely target at this point but they have no stocks to do it with.
I would really like to see some activity out of @Manx, @Pietastic and Co Jones, who defies being tagged. How do you recommend we proceed this day phase?
In my personal opinion, unless some really good evidence comes to light I’ll probably be pursuing either Manx or Saitsu this phase. Godots just seems like a setup.
I haven’t read the thread yet, I on;y came in after being summoned.
As i see it right now, there’s not a whole lot of info being put in. I’ll read it in the morning when I get off work. As we get closer to deadline, stuff will come out. It always does.
Uggggh… so much back and forth in here without much being said at all.
Anyway, I read through the last two pages just now and got caught up.
BullDancer being BullDancer. Never know when you guess wrong.
I never actually researched his UC claim for myself. If I had, I would have spoken out against it. If you point out something really important, quote it! so people can see it more easily. It was mentioned back when I was busy working on my project and I didn’t have time to research it before voting. If I had, it mostly likely would have changed my vote.
We needed a lynch, plain & simple. I thought about voting at random/off hunches, but that can be just as damning as voting with the wagon, and I was running out of time and made the best vote I could.
Now, on the current state of the game:
Mafia are hiding because we’re making so many posts and not saying anything at all. we’re stumbling over our own feet trying to make head or tail out of a bunch of people staring into a black box with no clue of what’s going on.
In the absence of information sometimes you have to go with the information that you do have, so right now how I feel about it, we need to go after the people implicated by Azure’s death.
That could be a Mafia trap.
It could have some merit.
It could be just grasping in the dark and we essentially end up lynch people completely at random (most likely outcome)
This has the effect, however, of
Forming a sense of teamwork as Civilians
Revealing who among us are useful and who are the bullshitters.
I say we take the bait and go after the ones fingered initially by Azure (keep in mind that I also implicate myself by making this statement. Take that how you may.), so that we can get this ball moving in a direction that will eventually make Mafia reveal some information, since so far they haven’t.
My feelings on specific players:
Synonym - Civilian, because he plays like one. Truly trying to be helpful and not a hint of overconfidence or hesitation.
Saitsu - Not sure, but leaning ever so slightly toward Mafia. Only because the BullDancer fiasco makes it easy for a Mafia to capitalize on and that’s pretty much what he did. No other motivations for this, and like I said, it’s only a very slight feeling.
Everyone else - Mobus, Neesa and Dark General all look like they’re trying to help as well. Godot’s posts just enough to not look suspicious. Everybody else hasn’t posted enough or me to make any determination worthy of talking about.
I agree about the quoting point. I have noticed that some of our players are only checking in when summoned. This obviously makes it difficult for them to keep abreast of the current events. I try to quote as much as possible but I’ll certainly be conscious of this in the future.
Now onto potential lynch targets. As you have expressed your desire to follow Azure’s list the only recommendation I have is that we look at Saitsu first before Godots. It could be that this results in Saitsu dying a civilian death and I’ll end up with some seriously bloodied hands however it’s a risk I’m willing to take. To be perfectly frank, my mind is fairly set on Saitsu and Manx, however Pietastic is worryingly silent. If there is anyone who threatens me in this game it’s him. I really and truly cannot get a read on his actions.
Godots as a lynch suspect just seems too easy to me. Literally the very first posts after Azure’s death called for his head. Now, unless Godots has completely forgotten how to play this game I have serious doubts that he’d make such an obvious kill. As such, I suggest that we reserve our judgement on him until we investigate other suspects.
I’m not sure I’d say he was the biggest protagonist in the BD lynch, however he was certainly vocal about his mistrust. I think that that might be all that it is though.
However, I’ve already acknowledged my inability to read him so I could be entirely too forgiving of his actions.
You know, this is why you don’t talk strategy during the Night phase. Now I would wait for:
The Co-Jones
Pietastic
To come and try to press a lynch on me, but there was an early stand about how the lynch on me was too obvious. It would be too risky for Mafia to try to get a wagon on me at this point. I’m not quite sure who to go after right now.
I’d think it would be a good idea for a veteran to take an inexperienced player, or an inexperienced player to take a veteran (if they knew who the veterans were). However, I can pretty much classify all of us as an inexperienced player, seeing how you have to have at most 2 games. If I were a REALLY inexperienced player, I would have no clue who to pick.
That’s just my generalization. I’m not going to use any names because each player would probably pick somebody different.
