To be fair we didnt really even get a chance to do anything. Synonym just said “Hey lynch these dudes” and it just so happens that every single one has flipped corrupt. Though did anybody catch him explaining how he got all these spot on reads? Unless he didnt explain, im getting suspicious of how he got them. 4 corrupt kills in a row is making me increasingly suspicious that he was in on it, and the “Sacrifice the whole team to slide in one guy under the radar for a win” conspiracy theory might be true.
Maybe I just missed something in his Last Gasp but I dont feel like putting in that effort to go find it right now. I’ll check tomorrow if nobody remembers
I know it means very little now but remember the Suspect List I said I was building when the game started? By Day 2…it was pretty much the same as Syn’s only without DG (as due to the DC/DG switch, had no read at that time) and I thought Dandy was suspect too.
If I can come to similar conclusions as Syn then they weren’t too hard to come up with.
And again, the “conspiracy theory” is too damn risky when you consider that again, 2 UCs are active. Even if the UCs missed a Corrupt in every single investigation, the amount of confirmed Civs would be too much for the singular Corrupt to overcome.
If a uc has even 1 guilty name, I’d say its time to come forward (in day phase of course) so we know who not to lynch. Knowing mafia is just as important as knowing civs for the end game
The Chief, having exhausted himself during the afternoon, trying to find any evidence regarding the corrupt, spent the night frantically typing into his laptop. He had to get everything he had discovered documented. He knew no matter what, this information could be what it took to save the day.
As he saved the last of his documents, he closed Microsoft Office. There, he discovered a window open in the background.
Hmmm, he thought. I don’t remember opening a web browser tonight.
He stared intently at the window.
“Click here to see the special surprise that I’ve got hiding,” said the advertisement with a half naked woman on it.
A special surprise… he mused to himself. He remembered what he heard at the beginning of the trial. Shemale corrupt.
Surely this was pertinent to the matter at hand. Click
The web browser jumped to omgitzatrap.com, and it certainly was a trap. Instead of a webpage, what this site held was a secret coding, that, upon being visited, would send a signal to a computer demanding that its power supply demanded more power from the electrical outlet. What did it do with that excess power?
The Chief’s fingers soon found out. It sent it directly through the USB ports, into anything plugged into them, which translated into his keyboard.
What happened in Compton? Well, it’s legend, they say. But The Chief learned to use PS/2 devices that day. No one’s quite sure what that file he saved hides, but that poor detective became Kentucky Fried.
The Chief was killed by The Corrupt.
The Chief was a detective!
The Chief, please submit your last gasp within 12 hours. PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, THIS TIME, PUT IT IN A CODE TAG SO THAT I DON’T HAVE TO TAKE 500 SCREENCAPS.
Godot’s kill stock is now 1.
Day 6 has begun. Please submit your lynch votes by 11:00PM, Sunday, October 12, EST.
Considering the mathematics, I’d say relatively low. A sacrifice will leave them at one player if they picked mechanic option 1 and recruited. I pretty much discredited the possibility as soon as they lost two players yesterday.
It’s certainly strange that they would target someone that was going to be lynched for certain (99% at least) the next day. Or they suspected that if he was killed during the night and turned out to be one of the ucs we would doubt the validity of his results?
Even if the UC’s didnt know their last guilty before night phase, they shouldnt have tried it anyway. There is the chance that the UC’s could’ve learned who the last guilty is on the night that Chief died.
Also if you look at it, with the exception of Synonym, it seems like they have been sniping our least active members hoping they hit a role. So far they’ve been right. RT was fairly quiet and turned up Godot. Dandyman telegraphed but he was also pretty quiet and turned up Maya. Vynce wasnt around a whole lot from what I remember but he got killed as well out of nowehre and flipped roleless civ. Chief was being minimalist as well and is UC (supposedly).
And yeah. Chief being sacrificed as a UC is a perfect cover up.
