Well I know there is some hindsight in this question, but what stopped you from accusing him this game? Was it the fear that you would be wrong again? If so, why hasnt that stopped you before?
@Sovi3t you’re making this a ‘damned if you do damned if you don’t’. I stopped being gung ho because you (and several others) said it wasn’t helping. If it’s not helping, then I’m not going to do it; that would be counterproductive. I’m not going to bust my ass about something that isn’t worth it. Yet, now that I’ve stopped doing things that weren’t helping, I’m even more suspicious? The hell was I supposed to do then? Keep doing things the way I was doing them? Wouldn’t that be even worse? >.<
And I’m definitely not in lurk mode. In fact if anyone in this thread is, it’s the people I listed as my suspects. Augustus especially. I’m not sure if he refreshes his page every 20 minutes or what, but he by far has the highest number of minutes active to number of posts made ratio (which is a bad thing, btw).
Also, quick question for Willy (sorry if this seems off topic):
I understand that you have jury duty and can’t access the file, but what was your logic for the post counter code? I’m not super familiar with reading HTML through Java, so I’m not sure what to use to distinguish different posts from each other.
Also, who here knows how to compile .java files and run them without being .jar executables? I have a special job for you. I think @Synonym might’ve had experience with code?
Forge, I posted the source before if you can track it down. Basically I get the HTML and the forum wraps each post with a specific tag. The author name is one of the attributes. I just check the author and increment their post count. You can query page 1 and find the number of pages currently in the thread, then loop and get the HTML for each page and process it one by one.
@bious I didn’t jump on you I called you out for mafia behavior. I already answered why its mafia behavior.
@tgg he was on my top 3 suspects he just died before I could post it for today, oz is very hard to read so I didn’t feel super comfortable going in on him. The biggest tip off for me was when he did his typical role claim as (Larry) butz which didn’t really make sense within the story so oz probably wasn’t following it too closely like usual.
You did a complete 180 though. Went from posting lists, and accusing lots of people, to suddenly wallflower mode. Admit it, your fellow mafia told you to back the fuck down.
I was under the impression that the deadline was 11am. 36 hours for the day cycle and we got a 12hr extension due to SRK.
Fuck the state of Virginia. Nobody here should be allowed to drive nor vote.
Post count, anyone? I want to know why I am specifically a wallflower candidate as opposed to Aidebit, BK, RT, etc. I’ve given notice as to what I have had going on What’s their excuses?
I see. So now when I accuse people I’m suspicious?
You contradict yourself, my friend. If I were mafia, my ‘fellows’ wouldn’t have told me to back off. That’s super suspicious, remember? I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: if I were mafia I wouldn’t be playing so recklessly.
I also like how you didn’t refute any of my points specifically. “he’s just mafia cause he is” is basically all I’m hearing from you. You have shit for proof; can’t even construct an argument properly, god damn.
Try harder, man. You’re gonna have to make a lot more sense than that.
I can’t really discredit what you say, because only you know what goes on in your head. Though, I can choose to not believe it. You had 2 whole phases to say something alluding to that and you didnt. The next lynch could be a corrupt, and I can just go “Oh yeah I totally called that I just didnt post about it.”. Would people believe me? Probably not. Do I believe you? Not really.
You and OZ had your names in each other’s mouths quite often. You both voted for AC day one going against the grain. You kept it going next phase and turned it into a bandwagon, you and OZ still voting together. Then when he dies you have the most notable reaction praising Godot. Almost as if in fear that eyes may be turned your way.
