Alpha, if you had a power that let you kill 3 people when you’re lynched, which 3 would you choose when you are lynched?
*Finally caught up and on my pc.
I like the idea of trying to get our UC’s away from investigating similar targets, but I’m not sure how well that’ll actually work for multiple reasons.
1: They can both be similar minded people. They could both be not only choosing from the same list but also working from a similar mindset of “Starting from the top/bottom” or going for “Wallflower/Active”. If we could create more sets of variables inside each respective list we can give them both more to choose from and further prevent overlap.
Some suggestions:
Signup order tooken from page 1 that isn’t in alphabetical order.
Alphabetical order of names
Post count
Who voted for the top lynch wagon
Who voted off the wagon
If we create more variables for our UC’s to choose from within the list hopefully we’ll prevent any overlapping investigations. Plus it’ll make it CONSIDERABLY harder for the mafia to nail down who our UC’s are because there is too many variables at play.
I’m also 99.9999% certain that at least one of our UC’s will know which one they are by the end of night 3. I’d almost garauntee it.
After playing as mafia last game I’m getting more Civ vibes from other players early game than ever have before. Which is a big shakeup from how I’m usually a little more paranoid early game.
Augustus, Saitsu, Aidebit and Pimp Willy are the 4 players that are all appearing as civ to me.
There’s also one more person that is coming off as civ because of 2 things he has said thus far, but I’d rather keep that one under my cap for now.
As far as where my vote is going today, I’m not sure. The Alphacommando train doesn’t exactly move me much. Him saying that he wouldn’t lynch the those names were eyebrow raising but after explaining himself I can buy it a little bit. The thing that still makes me question it though is, why after night 6?
Worse case scenario is that if we mislynch up until that point and vigi doesn’t hit a mafia we’ll lose by then.
The game started out with 25 players.
Mafia opted for recruitment puts their starting numbers at 7.
Mislynch yesterday, Fuzz DQ and night kill put us at 22 players remaining going into day 2.
A mislynch/nightkill/vigi screwup puts us at** 19 players remaining going into day 3. **
All it would take is for two more mislynches followed by the mafia killing at night to for us to be in a lynch or lose situation.
Obviously i am one of them.

Your messages since roles went out have all sounded like a Mafia trying to sound like a Civ to me. But yeah, I had trouble distinguishing whether that was because you’re Mafia or because of the language barrier, so I couldn’t really build a case against you. I just had to wait and see if the other players had a similar viewpoint.

Back on topic, I’d like a recession time lynch soon. I’m not positive but I’m fairly sure that AC is civilian. If he flips Mafia then yay but if not then how do we proceed tomorrow. We already have hecatom and pink making their excuses about the bandwagon and how they weren’t serious. So what happens if he is civilian? Are you saying you should be absolved of all guilt?
Pink accused me of subtly sowing seeds yesterday, well today I’m accusing him off trying to jump off the bandwagon before it goes off the cliff.
The more suspect those is hecatom’s use of the same tactic.
Although that might be my tunnel vision kicking in again.

Excuse me, but where in the mafia rule books says that you “shouldn’t try and point out how much of a civilian a person is?” Did you make the rules? Everyone has their own way on playing these games, and I’m so sorry that yours is different than mines. It’s okay that you’re ignorant in this game and have horrible trust issues.

I never said that you’re not allowed to point it out. However by doing so and the way that you become overly defensive and lash out when someone as much as looks in your direction seems shady to me. I don’t particularly trust anyone this early in the game so I guess that I’m suffering from “trust issues” then.

I was waiting to see who’d mention soviets play this game. Dude is calm and collected, which is radically different from the last time I played with him.
Not sure what that means yet.

I like your question about why a mafia team wouldn’t choose them and I think that should be answered by more of the relevant player population.
For instance, off the top of my head the only two people I really think would choose you is Chief and ForgeDigger . I think RadicalFuzz, Willy and Bious might as well.
Willy - After last game, and even before that I don’t think anyone would tie you two together. Again, after what happened last game I think me using you and him having a lack of chemistry to my benefit would be why he’d possibly go for a move like that. Actually, I’m reminded of something. How did you (Vynce), Willy and Synonym teamup as mafia go back in the Shards of Alara game?
Bious - Straight Yomi play. “I want to kill Vynce the first chance I have” and then turning around and recruiting you.

@hecatom the answer to the question you asked is on the last page. Alphacommando originally thought i just voted him for no reason but i answered him before he posted.
How’d our team up go? Horribly. I got shanghai’d into the Mafia team, the godfather pink Willy the limp decided to get DQ’ed then I got lynched based on suspicions from when I was still civilian.
Also, I just realised I have only ever lived through one Mafia game and that was the one that Mafia couldn’t kill me in.
*2 questions:
1: Who do you think would choose to recruit you? If you don’t think no one would because of your win percentage or some other reason, who do you think would consider recruiting you?
2: What did you learn after last game?
