To everyone who said why RT: Do you think he’s going to contribute in the coming day phases? Like Chief said, do you think he has a plan for endgame? Not necessarily saying everyone does, but he plays these games without saying hardly anything and survives into endgame because the Mafia has no incentive to kill him. If we lynch him Day 1 we “lose” very little even if he’s civilian because he’s not talking and if we get lucky and he’s Mafia then that’s nice. If we don’t lynch him Day 1, then when, or do you propose that we just keep him alive when he’s doing nothing to help? We can’t afford lynches in the mid-late game just to kill wallflowers when it could be Lynch or Lose, that’s something I learned very well last game. So what’s your plan for dealing with RT?
To everyone who is disconcerted by my aloof method of dealing with Alpha’s attempted wagon: I don’t want to make a mountain out of a molehill. Alpha had 4 or 5 votes locked on me due to past favors, but there was no real push aside from those players having to vote for me. Overreacting or even acknowledging the wagon as a threat would inadvertently create more support for it. I’d be talking about me getting lynched, Alpha and everyone who voted for me would be talking about it, and everyone who hadn’t voted yet would be thinking about it, which is a decent amount of what happened in the EOW game where I got lynched Day uno. I was taking a small gamble, but it was a relatively safe bet that somebody else would get lynched, and sure enough the town just kinda decided on Coco after I left. There @ForgeDigger now you can fill in that blank on your spreadsheet :tup:
To Vynce: So you think I’m suspicious, and I’d be a fine lynch, but you don’t want the guilt of being wrong again, at least before I “get a chance to play”? Come on, if this was anyone else the entire town would be calling you on that. I completely believe that you’d feel bad if you lynched me early on, regardless of my allegiance or yours, but you should know better than that. If I slipped up then call me on that ish. Even if you succeed and I get lynched Day 1 you shouldn’t feel bad. The consolation prize of getting lynched early is that it’s very easy to see why you were lynched and get better from that.
