I’m not sayin’ bring out the pitchforks on every read, but putting pressure on people when you find these reads are generally a good idea.
Like what Alpha just did, in fact.
And what if I’m wrong? What if my “read” leads to the suspect of someone who actually isn’t dirty? Or what if my read raises some kind of suspicion from someone else and I’m the one who everyone votes for?
Too many things that can go wrong. I don’t want to be part of something that involves the potential death of someone that screws us all over, like what happened with OZ. That’s why I’ve stuck with no lynch votes.
On the flip side of that thought process is NOT saying anything one way or another which can be considered suspect. Or waiting until someone puts pressure on one of your suspects before putting out your read, which if proven false can be considered suspect. No action or inaction is safe from being suspected. But being suspected doesn’t necessarily lead to a lynch. Similarly, if one of your suspects starts leading a lynch on you, it can either lead credence to that person OR to you depending on how well you can defend your own actions.
So not only do I have no guarantee that I can be right but I’m also damned if I do or damned if I don’t.
I told you I wanted no part in this.
Not necessarily. You put your foot out there, best be able to defend your actions. You stick to the wall, you best be able to defend your actions. If you can’t, that kinda leads you to being suspect. It’s usually better to at least throw out your suspicions to at least attempt to seem helpful, though.
I just said that I don’t have any suspicions because I can’t read people. What part of that do you not understand.
LordWilliam is playing the wishy washy woe is me card, which could be a mafia act or genuine frustration… Hard to tell.
As for forge wanting me dead, its understandable. 2 of my top reads are dead and they werent mafia but power roles. I would probably vote against me too.
I wonder if maybe I should change it up, and say my gut is wrong let’s vote opposite for somebody I trust. Or if I say I can’t be that wrong 3 times and vote for syn.
I’m not sure my ego could take being wrong again
I never wanted to join the game in the first place, because as I’ve stated MULTIPLE TIMES, I can’t play these kinds of games. But Cyntalan and a bunch of you wouldn’t shut up about it. So of course I’m going to express frustration.
So no issues if we lynch you today?
Or if you stop voting and get dqd?

Lynching me would be pointless. You’d gain no information and would go into the night phase with the mafia able to get yet another kill in, and they clearly can read us just fine. You have nothing to gain and everything to lose.
If I get myself DQ’d Cyntalan and Bious will just keep pestering me about it.
So its just hollow frustration and you do indeed feel something tethering you to the game
Welcome to my suspect list

Whatever. Guess you’ll just learn the hard way.
Comments on AC’s argument:
I think the strongest piece of evidence would be the YOU FUCKING FOOLS post. But then reading the I/he post a few times got me thinking - what if the dormant lover wanted to be mafia and did not tell OZ? It’s possible that the dormant lover could be one of the ones who voted for OZ but did not announce to thread so that OZ would not reveal their name.
Since it’s still early this phase -
@Cyntalan

This seems like half a statement. Care to elaborate?
oops
Cyntalan - you kinda dodged my question earlier - you never explained your Day 1 vote when you said you were going to. You claimed to be wrapped up in Shulk and Smash or whatever. Yet, you were able to make time to catch up and post to feign presence. Then you missed a vote. You haven’t really added much value since your suggestion Day 1…It all seems a little too suspect for me so here’s a little test for you. I would expect if you aren’t dirty that you would be saving the posts as you suggested. I just edited a post on page 4 to “CYNTALAN TEST.” From my original post, please post the 10th, 18th, 23rd, 117th, and 118th letters. Otherwise, my lynch vote today will go to you. So for now:
Lynch Cyntalan
…well, I guess you’ll have to put your vote on me, JasonC. After realizing Fuzz would be the best choice for saving due to him never going away, I stopped caring and haven’t saved.
As for my day 1 vote, I thought there was a lot more weighing in on CK than turned out. My poor math was what led me to my assumption he was doomed.
and re: LW
Although you guys are saying he’s not helping, what I can gather from his No Lynch votes is that he is not a Titan. I say this because I believe that he won’t commit to anything that he isn’t almost sure about so if he were mafia, he’d be submitting a lynch vote on any civ because that would lead further to a titan victory. But since he’s not lynching anyone, he’s not sure who the titans are, so that makes him civ in my eyes.
