Personally I think they made a mistake last night. If they knew who Mikasa was why not hang on to the info until an expedition happens and avoid attacking the group with her in it? I mean, it’s not like they need to kill any of our roles with any urgency.

I also see what you’re doing for the 3rd line. I don’t like that one bit. If you want to start a train on DG lead it yourself.
They only have to worry about Levi now which give them a 75% (with four groups) or a ~84% chance(with 6 groups) to not hit any of the groups with an ace in it. As opposed to 50% and 66% when both are alive.
So unless they were 100% sure that TGG were Mikasa and could risk not killing her this early it makes sense to me.
Right, I’m really trying understand the need to role hunt. We’ve already stated that expeditions aren’t a priority until late game… and most of our civ roles only work in expeditions. Role hunting early could’ve been postponed technically and they could’ve played the counter move when it became time.
This reopens the possibility that their kill was a lucky guess. But why TGG? Was he on to something or too talkative? Is he a late game threat if left alive? I don’t know for sure.
Maybe they just wanted to see if they made a right read. Maybe they’re not vets who make godlike decisions.
I can see the thinking behind it. Looking back at TGG’s post. It did look an awful lot like potential targets to take out/investigate, so I can see someone making the leap and pulling the trigger hoping to hit a power role. To me it looks an awful lot like they were trying to hit Eren/Armin/or Hange just going off by how TGG posted.
I can see why people like to avoid discussing mechanics. The entire discussion helps mafia more than it does civs in my current opinion.
That last post was with the obvious benefit of hindsight.

TGG coulda have been an effort to frame somebody (syn? He claimed to go at it with TGG day 1) and not necessarily a role hunt
I have no problem leading on DG, but was basically told to back off so until I get some proof I am not gonna push it yet.
The only way I’d accept the idea that it could’ve been a framing is if TGG had a #1 suspect that he was pushing. Bickering disagreements don’t count.
I don’t have time to re-read everything. Can the mafia fail a recruitment (other than Dormant Lover)?

In this post Skizzz basically said he thinks TGG is 100% civ, it’d be mind-boggling if he was Mafia. Later I asked Skizzz if he trusted anyone more than Alpha (in his “A” tier, presumably) and he said yes.
I want to ask you a question. Do you honest to goodness think that the Mafia killed TGG because I asked Skizzz if he trusted someone a lot?

What do you think of the Mafia killing TGG? Do you agree with any part of going on an expedition today? Will (some of) you like to refute the charges against you?
The Chief was posting minimally, so I was worried. I have been satisfied for now.
I very much approve of the kill - it’s almost as if I gave the order myself! I don’t care if we go on an expedition or not. And no, I don’t want to refute any suspicions against me in the hope that more will come my way.
Moving on… I have a question.
Is anyone else being completely thrown off by AlphaCommando? The way he is approaching things is unfamiliar to me. I did agree with his Day 1 suspicions (and still kinda do), but as he would put it: “He is acting differently this game.”

Sorry, my glee over Shulk’s appearance in Smash has distracted me from this.
I was quite shocked TGG was the target, myself. I was expecting to have the sights aimed at me after my suggestion. My guess is while he talked a lot, he also was way off in the wrong direction the whole day and mafia hopes to use his death as a reason for us to use his observations as a reason to chase down the wrong people.
Alpha being alive after day 1 is suspicious enough anyway regardless of his behavior
