Now that I think about it, we all jumped on Augustus for defending CK, but nobody said shit about Augustus defending Synonym from Pimp Willy. He may have played it as a joke in his post, but at the end of the day he really did vote to lynch Willy.
I was rereading the thread and looking at my notes until about 45 minutes before the deadline before sending in my vote on Blindknagg. Here were he things that was going through my mind before voting:
1: Determining whether mafia would let someone edit their posts for the yomi play. Ultimately I leaned towards most people who would be mafia not doing it because it draws too much attention too fast. It’s one thing if they had 6 members right off the back and went for an early gambit like that. But starting from 3 players? I leaned towards that play being too risky.
1a: Looking at how CK’s wagon formed. Something just felt off to me about how it formed. I couldn’t put my finger on it so I decided not to jump on the wagon.
2: Thinking about voting for one of my suspects, but I didn’t want to tip them off too early and the wagon wouldn’t gain traction. Thus basically a throw away vote.
3: Reading over Blindknaggs post again to get a pulse on what angle he was playing. I was rereading the thread when I found a post by AlphaCommando breaking down who had talked about what. Blindknaggs name was on it so I decided to look through his posts and see what type of contribution he was doing. When I looked through his posts he didn’t really say a lot even though he had more posts than I thought he did.
To me, this lead me to believe Blindknag was potentially a dormant trying to wait out the early phase.
C_K doesn’t post much and he never explains his votes and he locks them in early these 3 facts pretty much hold true every game he’s in regardless of what side he’s in if any of these 3 habits are not in effect, lynch him.
@PW I’m surprised you voted syn since last game you were specifically against voting off the more active players like him early on. That right there does concern me a little, but I can’t remember if you were civ or mafia that game lol.
*I’m not voting for Augustus day 1, he only made a small blip on my radar. Nothing enough for me to vote for him or grill him on during day 1. Also I might be alone in feeling this, but to me voting him out day 1 would be a mistake unless he came off as really dirty. He’s too much of a potential civ asset.
Asking the obvious question here, but do you guys think the 3 mafia actually planned to get a tie? I mean I’m not ruling it out, but with 3 people it seems like the stars would have to align for them…right?
You certainly havent been doing anything to make me think otherwise. Not really calling you useless per se, but calling a potential asset is a gross exaggeration.
