I need to start playing Magic again.
But, #1 I’m broke, and #2 I’m so far out of the loop it’s tragic.
One of my friends tried to get me to transition from Raw Deal (WWE-themed CCG) to Magic. It was a lot to remember, and I wound up realizing it was going to take way too long to get competitive, and the only CCG I really wound up enjoying was Raw Deal.
So I stuck with that until overall interest finally waned and CI lost the WWE license. Haven’t really had the desire to pick up a new game since.
Pretty much the same thing with me and the Marvel CCG. I remember dropping $200 on packs one day and only making back about $40 of it. And my first Magic deck was practically given to me by an old friend and then it just POOF! Went missing on day. Someone in my family probably threw them out.
I just gave up after that. I really wish another card game would take off besides MtG, so I can get into it fresh, but that will probably take a long time.
Well it’s hard because, well you got your MtG and Yugioh where if you’re going into it new…you’re in trouble right out of the gate. The other option is to hope you can catch a new game on the rise and hope it doesn’t go to hell too fast. Right now it seems Cardfight Vanguard is that game.
That looks like the Blazblue of CardGames.
Hearthstone isn’t bad, but it’s online only, I think.
*Thanks for the praise guys. The interview completely wiped me out after completing it, but it was so worth it.
I actually added in Missing Persons choice for who he would pick for Civs. It’s at the bottom, so if you’re curious, and I know you, go back and read the bottom of the interview.*
Even Blazblue isn’t this simple.
My problem is that the game tends to feel overly simplistic plus they added sack mechanics for the hell of it.
I second hearthstone, its online but its free to play… so of course I’ve spent like 60 bucks on cards lol
Just got back from seeing the new x-men, glad to see everything is sorted out
Same here. I liked the movie, but I liked First Class much more.
First class is good, and maybe I’m just riding the newness of this one, but this one was even better. Both are miles ahead of the original trilogy.
I’d personally rank the X-men movies something like:
First Class>Days of Future Past>>X-1>>>X-2>>>>>>>>>>>>X-3>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Origins
I haven’t seen the new wolvie movie yet, but I heard that was good as well
It was 2 hours of Hugh jackman’s bare chest. Apparently everybody loved it.
You’re starting the game on the launch day of Watch_Dogs? That’s brave.
As for you, Synonym/Panda, you’d better prepare your eyes for a raping the next time you die in one of my games, you Hannah Montana bastard.
If only I was smart/creative enough to figure out how to run a Zero Escape Mafia game…
Sign me up.
The Koreans in the theater I watched it at were laughing at the white guy having intimate relations with a Japanese woman.
Literally laughing.

Yeah, bingo.
Like I tried to get into several during my days in Raw Deal, and they either died out or were Magic.
One of those was UFS (Which was based on FGs), and then there was another one like that, but it was based solely SF/MK.
Any other game I got into died or had some stupid abuseable mechanic that made the game not fun. Raw Deal was pretty perfect in that it was easy to pick up, easy to deck build, and didn’t cost you a fortune for whatever rares you needed play. I had a lot of fun making some insane decks, and was getting really good when the game started to drop off.
