We saw the power of having multiple Lover roles in the Vampires vs. Werewolves game and how much a second opinion can benefit both players. I believe that a Piccolo/Nail team as soon as possible is more important than saving Nail’s Protect ability for a potential later date (especially if he dies by other means, nullifying his ability to PM Piccolo)
I’m not saying role-claim now necessarily, I’m just saying that we shouldn’t not role-claim at all during this game. This goes back to a previous point of mine about preventing the flow of information.

Call me naive, but I genuinely believe that OZ wouldn’t take the bet if he was Mafia. Why not guarantee someone that I can either trust or lynch by Day 1?

Besides, I always start off with allusions to what I’m thinking. I never start off day 1 with, “Hurr, this is exactly what I’m thinking.” But to give a blanket agreement to mere allusions…y…no. I’ma throw the gauntlet down on that.

When you say you won’t post lynch tallies in day phase but only the writeups does that mean you’ll only tell us who voted for who during the night phase writeup?
Hmmm so godfather kill submission can be switched around at will with at least 5 votes so does the godfather get to be one of those 5 or must the votes come from the 6 others? Also what benefit does this achieve outside of mafia not getting screwed over if the godfather gets too busy to lot on SRK for a night? If civs are close to finding godfather than switching night kill ability won’t do anything to throw us off our track, Frieza still retains the godfather role.
Chain silence isn’t allowed but chain enforce is? I really hope this doesn’t work like last game where mafia get to role hunt with enforce. And chain forge is allowed right?

You three please do not use your ability on anyone (except for medic on himself) until you have at least some evidence to go on, helping mafia is not a good start, it’s more beneficial to civs to just play as namekians for now.

I say we should lynch CK day1 if only because in almost every other game he has admitted that he will never post much nor explain his vote choices, so he’s really dead weight and hasn’t been particularly helpful for civs in any game I can recall, someone feel free to correct me on that last point, but still my logic is simple and undeniable.

What Exodus said didn’t make sense to me at first, but when I looked at the OP, everything made sense.
When Nail dies using his ability to protect someone, he gets to ‘fuse’ with Piccolo i.e., he joins Piccolo in a PM convo. He can’t participate in the game thread, though.
It was a simple acknowledgement of there maybe being a reason behind AC posts and we might be thinking along the same lines.

On another note, I was going to grill AC some more…but having thought about it some more, I’ll just say let’s trust Nail to make up his own mind about who he protects.
At least for now anyway. I think it’s painfully obvious that nobody is ready for a role-claim and I just don’t see why Nail would have anybody specific he would protect unless he fears that Mafia would target that particular player tonight.
I’m also surprisingly not that suspicious of AC anymore, if that means anything.
I don’t see a need for Picnail to happen this early in the game especially if Nail is someone that can be beneficial for us and provide input for all the civs if he’s alive.
