Because of this software, more people past 4-5 names on the same day get put into: “and like 10-16 other people!” collapsed and unseen.

I guess that would take a while with inputting— more swearing is necessary. It doesn’t even work to just put in a sequential number going up or down on the profiles without a name, the exact name of someone who signed up in that position. So that’s even harder with spaces and everything. I think I remember Exodus. or someone trying this for notifys with the account number and finding it doesn’t work without the name, a good try

I’m out to go play in my towns weeklys, I’ll be back later. I still am of the mind that the real vigi should hit 3sl (assuming that 3sl isnt vigi) and that nail should protect him, but would like to see any good alternative ideas.

I also think that looking for alt accounts is going to end up as a waste of time, but if someone is willing to look though it then by all means go for it.

This plan is only good if we assume 3SL is civilian. If 3SL is Mafia, this does nothing but benefit him. If Goku protects, he is not only a safe if civilian, but the Vigi can call him out on his bluff if 3SL is anything besides Vigi.

Pretty suspect that you are making the assumption that he is civilian.

Good point, however, I don’t like the idea of tying up Goku for potentially the rest of the game. As crazy as it sounds, if 3SL is Mafia, I don’t think Piccolo should attack him. For now, I’m going to make the assumption that he is Piccolo until someone else CC’s or another person dies as Piccolo.

What do you think Piccolo should do now that his days are numbered and he may have only 1 shot stock?

How can he be of any help when his role can be blocked by the Enforcer?

If Piccolo is 3SL, he should hold tight and hope that we can kill Captain Ginyu before Goku and Nail die. If the majority decides on a night target, 3SL should attempt to Special Beam Cannon them, just in case he doesn’t get Enforced.
If Piccolo isn’t 3SL, he should Special Beam Cannon 3SL (unless Fuzz goes against his own wording and does let Nail protect against Piccolo’s attacks, which would be counter-intuitive to how the role fits with the DBZ canon).

If 3SL doesn’t die by Piccolo attack tonight, I am going to stick with my assumption that he is Piccolo, in which case, he’ll be a confirmed Civilian in my eyes, which is a great help in a game of numbers.

If it had worked that one time, I would have continued to do it. Hell, it DID work finding both Godots’ alt accounts @lol_Mafia and @Blick_Winkel. However, the tech is more or less useless now that I’ve one-shot revealed it. I can almost guarantee that nobody’s going to make an obviously named alt-account linking directly to them now that they know people can see that shit.

Initial thoughts:

Alpha is playing bad and I’m not sure if it’s intentional.

oz is going after an easy target in Combo_Knight much like Mafia oz went after Godots in the FGC game. I don’t like that.

If Alpha dies and winds up Mafia, then I believe oz is Mafia as well. But if oz dies and winds up as Mafia, it doesn’t necessarily mean Alpha is also Mafia.

MP seemed kind of ‘angry’ in some parts of his posts which is behaviour I usually associate with Mafia MP. But this is just conjecture.

I’m not buying 3SL’s role-claim. I really don’t see the benefit of it and he surely wouldn’t be that silly if he really were Piccolo. He’s either Mafia or he’s pulling another stunt much like he did in the Vampires vs Werewolves game. Nobody protect him. Follow DarkGeneral’s advice:

@Medic: Protect yourself and worry about survival. As long as the martyr is around we have another medic who can protect our civs from night kills.

@Vigi: Play it cool and worry about survival. Try to peg the martyr early so you don’t end up wasting a stock on them and neutralize part of their ability.

@Martyr: Play as if you’re the real medic.

Other than that, I have no further reads on anyone else.

In your history, yeah probably you’re right about me. But I’ve been known to play angry civ as well, so I wouldn’t take my perceived disposition as gospel as to what alignment I am.

AC, you’ll need to adhere to it, too. As you were prepared to in the first place. In the event you are both mafia, I’ll miss you both terribly. As CK pointed out with the bet between Bious and myself, your wager, or lack thereof handily lends itself to the possibility of collusion.

Is not accessing srk at work a ‘problem’? The first part of your post I agree with, once we get one mafia it makes it easier to get the next n number of them based off previous interactions with each other.

Actually, when kaz and I were mafia together, it was a problem. We set up a Google hangout to overcome it. Hence my question, which could lead to some insight. But at least I guess we know who’s been assigned to defend kaz while he’s away. A hint, boss: you’re too obvious. If you want to survive longer, go back to being your usual silent self.

I actually don’t think it means 3SL is mafia. In my eyes, it would be a stupid sacrifice. What would mafia really gain? The real vigi is just going to kill him, unless of course medic protects him. Having been mafia so much, you hold each one of your stocks pretty tightly. I think it’d be too much of a risk. I mean, what if medic didn’t believe you, or dies quickly?

My guess? 3SL is attempting to make mafia’s life harder. They’ll have to guess about who might be protected, now. There’s also the bored civ aspect where he might be trying to get more info. But,hell. We are already six pages deep. Similar to the Van Helsing game, it also means that if he dies as a result of the RC, a roles civ does not. So in some respects, it can be viewed as a positive play.

There’s also the possibility that he’s actually vigi. This is remote in my mind. What person in their right mind, as a critical role, paints a target on themselves right away?

If Mafia kills the Vigi at night his kill will also go through. The Comrade kill will bypass Medic protection but not Martyr protection. The Enforcer Roleblock will not work on the Martyr. If a player is dead before their turn in the order their ability doesn’t activate.

My thoughts:(sorry I don’t like using the DBZ characters since I’ve never watched the show, so I’m sticking to traditional mafia names so I don’t get confused :mad: )

On 3SL - We have the option of believing him, which means (assuming that our medic and Martyr covers him) that if it’s the truth the following chain of events should(!) occur:

Enforcer blocks 3SL < Martyr protects 3SL < Medic protects 3SL < Mafia kills 3SL < Martyr dies instead.

If 3SL isn’t Vigilante, then this should occur:

Enforcer blocks 3SL (assuming roleless, so nothing to block) < Martyr protects 3SL < Medic protects 3SL < Vigilante kills 3SL < Mafia attempts to kill 3SL but unsuccessful since Vig got the kill.

If 3SL is Mafia the the following will occur:

Enforcer doesn’t matter unless he gets lucky (failed enforce attempts are not revealed) < Martyr protects 3SL < Vigilante kills 3SL Mafia kills their target < Mafia silences someone (They would probably silence 3SL if he wasn’t slain by the Vigilante)

Does that seem right to everybody?

The question is which one of those outcomes would be optimal. Then, what are the possible mishaps that could occur to prevent that outcome from happening?

One that sticks out to me is if Martyr or Medic have been RC’ed. Even a fake RC could throw off the balance because then the enforcer could just enforce the Martyr and let the Vigi kill go through (chances are he won’t get lucky) and get two for one night with a role dead.

We need to avoid this, which is why I believe the safest route so far is to NOT rc this early. Lookin at you, 3SL.
