This plan is only good if we assume 3SL is civilian. If 3SL is Mafia, this does nothing but benefit him. If Goku protects, he is not only a safe if civilian, but the Vigi can call him out on his bluff if 3SL is anything besides Vigi.

So 3SL is off the table for at least today and tonight. Unlike other games mafia claiming vigi can actually help them, in most games we usually agree that true vigi kills the faker but with Nail out there possibly protecting the faker it isn’t necessarily a free kill. “But would they really trade 1 for 1?” idk man, just pointing out that possibility because its generally the riskiest role for the mafia to claim. Its a free get rid of our martyr and using of a vigi stock, which as the last couple games show are super important, in this game.

Good point, however, I don’t like the idea of tying up Goku for potentially the rest of the game. As crazy as it sounds, if 3SL is Mafia, I don’t think Piccolo should attack him. For now, I’m going to make the assumption that he is Piccolo until someone else CC’s or another person dies as Piccolo.
I just don’t believe 3SL is the thing, I mean it’s not unlike him to RC and be a regular ass “unassuming local guy”. What makes his claim anymore substantial from the others if we know this is his common practice to extend his life expectancy in game?

The Vigi only has one stock at the beginning of the game, worst case scenario, going by a random kill on night 1 he kills an important role, leaving him with 0 stocks to kill later when he has a better chance to have a read on a possible mafia player
As for the Martyr, is mose because he can be a good asset to defend a strong player/important role later on the game, worst case scenario, he gets killed for defending a player who doesn’t contribute anything to the game, add that what happens if he is a good player who can give a good insight, though on the upside he is now in a pm conversation with Picoro but there will be always the possible problem that Picoro doesn-t listen what Neil has to say.
And no, I’m not suggesting that Piccolo CC if it isn’t 3SL.

- We assume he’s lying and he’s lying: We still probably wouldn’t lynch him until other evidence arises.
- We assume he’s lying and he’s telling the truth: We leave him unprotected at night and Mafia gets a free Vigi.
- We assume he’s telling the truth and he’s lying: We tie up one resource on him and his claim disappears when Piccolo dies.

So pretty much, we have to assume he is Piccolo, just in case he is Piccolo.

Well of all the games to role claim Vigi, we at least have good options to check it (Nail blocks mafia kills if he is actually vigi, but lets through real vigi if hes not).
I’m confused about why you would role claim vigi while enforcer is still alive tho? Like if you are the vigi 3SL, you wont get to use your ability unless we get the enforcer before they get the medic.
I agree with alpha’s plan at least for tonight, as I can’t see a downside to it.
Like the only other thing that I could think it is aside from bored civ, is that maaaaybe the mafia is throwing away one of the comrades? in an attempt to bait out a power role into speaking up while still getting a return kill. That line seems pretty loose though
