Day 1
Maiden Mashed

“Okay, first off, who was with Bious when he was attacked by those cops?” crucades said.

“Me.”

“Me.”

“Me.”

“I say we shoot em all.” Crucades started to pull his gun out.

“Wait, look at the neeeeeews,” cyntalan said with a high shrill that caused a nearby glass to break.

On the news they were discussing the bank robbery.

“… and one suspect dead. Police are saying that the suspect appears to have been stabbed from behind and bled out instantly. After an hour his body burst into purple flames. Officiers are still baffled by this…”

Everyone turned to Vynce, who still had his hands in the air.

“Uh Vynce?”

“Yeah?”

“Why you got them gloves on? It’s summer.”

“Cause I’m cool.”

“Okay, okay… But wern’t you showing the boys how you could light things on fire earlier?”

“Yeah, but my flames are regular flame color. Orange like.”

“Oh really? Show us.”

Vynce sighed and snapped his fingers. His gloves burned off, revealing a blood-soaked finger. Purple flames shot out from his hands.

“Fuck all of you! Here’s One for the Road!”

Vynce threw his flames to the ground. Fireballs erupted from the flames catching the room on fire. As everyone ran around in a panic, Vynce slinked away.

“Damn, that was too soon. Gotta warn the chief…”

But Vynce got no farther. A bright green flame hit him directly in the chest, knocking him down. Before he could even move he was hit with a massive fireball, which incinerated him instantly. A mysterious woman in red walked next to the burning Vynce and removed something from him.

“Thanks sucker.”

The Goons managed to extinguish the flames and ran out to confront Vynce, but all they found was his burning body, the green flames consuming him.

Vynce got lynched! He was the Bad Cop!

You shouldn’t be guessing for Mafia roles, that just makes it easier for Civilians to hunt them down during the Night phase. Also, the phrasing on those sentences can be interpreted with a large amount of butter on Jesus Toast.

“Are you the mastermind?” “Yes I am and now I’m putting a vote on you.” “Fuck me, you must have investigated me and found out I’m Civilian :(” <- Yes I realise the flaw in this logic, but I’ll direct you back to the sentence about not being entirely sure how all the mechanics work.

“If I die, will my Civilian alignment be revealed?” <- Again, a bit of a stretch, but it’s more hypothetical than logic.

Those two sentences were enough for me to say you should be a Day 1 lynch candidate.

Are there any objections to the Assassin hitting Nupo tonight?
Bonus important question: Would Vynce’s role have been worth negating the Day’s lynch? There was potentially enough confusion to sway the vote Day 2, so is it possible that the Good Cop wasn’t active during the last couple of hours?

Urgh, just read the word secretly in the Assassin’s role description. Chances are we won’t know if he’s poisoned until the end of the Day phase. New question: should we operate under the assumption that Nupo is getting poisoned tonight?
