I’d say the counter point is we don’t want the vigi to kill the Medic (on the outside chance the mafia doesn’t kill the medic tonight). <PW> is a non factor at this point, once we get his name from Chief or AC, then he’s as good as gone anyway. The only way that he slips away is if AC has the name, and is last gasp blocked, which you already said you don’t believe is going to happen. I think it’s more likely than you think. Let’s just hope Chief has the name and it’s a non issue

That’s a fair point. I’ll concede there’s a possibility of the LG block. Otherwise, <PW> having a smaller pool from which to choose wouldn’t matter.

If they have a last gasp block, they NEED <Pimp Willy> to join them just based on numbers. If they took the extra member, then <Pimp Willy> is probably not that big of a deal. If AC is a civ, why silence him if they didn’t care about <Pimp Willy> at all? Perhaps to get a lynch on Alpha. I don’t buy that Alpha is mafia, I think he is civ, and I think they want to block his last gasp to stop that name from coming out

Either RF or myself finally drew mafia again, after so many games. Before the game started, I figured we were both due. My number didn’t come up.

I thought the “Lynch RadicalFuzz” train was just a tongue in cheek thing, but you guys are serious. I’m still waiting for a day 1 slip up that I can pounce on and use for the rest of the game

I’m not locked in. RF can’t even reasonably defend himself given my criteria for suspecting him. That said, I wouldn’t rule out someone who proved to be suspicious.

I’m currently using the same flawed logic that lead me to HAX, GDR, and MP before them.

Vynce, our stat holds true. We have a 100% win rate we we play the same game on the same team.

That’s why I know for a fact that Vynce wouldn’t lie to me. Even if he did lie to me I’d believe it even if he confirmed it was a lie and had proof. So Vince is clean because he said he said so. Period. I will not entertain this discussion any further.

Fuzz is suspect even if we forget pregame and just go off of Vynces opinion alone.

I actually like DarkGeneral’s idea. But after the past two games I’ve realised these people often shoot down decent ideas despite the fact that they would have worked every time had everyone just cooperated. So I’m trying to suggest a middle ground that pleases both sides. Do I think that The Chief receiving investigations without interference is good? Of course. Do I actually think Icege will be hindered by having to protect the same person for three nights? Lol, no. The Medic doesn’t often pull off a save so I don’t see how that’s a good argument. I’d prefer if SWBeta role-claimed now but then I’d have some of those F-Tier poopoo arguments thrown my way too and I don’t think someone of my status should try to convince the hopeless.

As a discussion topic, since its so quiet, one of the biggest dividers we had was the witness protection program. So then, do you think it was more likely that mafia was for or against the plan?

Personally, I think that they were against the plan, knew that Fuzzy was <SWBeta>, and used their pull to get him lynched day 1. This is the only reason I even consider that Alpha is really mafia. All the people who came out against the plan were trying to cast those pro plan as lynchable targets (DG, Fuzzy, Me).

The flipside is that they didn’t have the <SWBeta> role known, but the medic role known (as per the enforce last night). And they were pro plan, in an attempt to get <SWBeta> to claim so they could easily neutralize the medic and kill him. If this is the case, it would most likely point to DG being part of the mafia (Probably <Kaz> if I had to guess) proposing the plan in the first place. Otherwise, it would be super unlikely such a plan was proposed NOT by the mafia, when the mafia had the tools to take it out completely. This paints DG and Me as dirty, because we were both big pushers of the plan.

Or it’s just a large storm of coincidence, they didn’t know either role and just got really lucky.

So which do you think it is?

Personally… I think they picked Fuzzy and they got lucky with the medic. That’s why I think DG is mafia. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that he came up with a plan that involved <SWB> rcing while the mafia knew exactly who <SWB> was.

Do the pros outweigh the cons for lynching Alpha today?
Pros:
-If Alpha is mafia, we’ve nailed a mafia
-If Alpha’s a civ and it is revealed that <PW> was not revealed to Chief, we get the name of <PW> without the (albeit slim) risk of his LG being blocked

Cons:
-If he is civ and <PW> revealed himself to Chief, he’s killed in vain while silenced. We lose a good civ.

-It’s not out of the question that he was <PW> trying to get a reaction out of the mafia to join them.

This could all be a ploy by the mafia to make Alpha look cleaner, too. It’s all depending on Chief’s LG. @MP - will we be told when/if a LG block is used.

Oh, and while I’m here. @Vynce talk to me. I trust you more than anyone else; what do you make of last night’s actions? Do you think Alpha’s a civ? If so, do you think <PW> contacted him? What about the medic, should he claim? I don’t see what could be lost from it, but maybe there is something I don’t see. Based off these actions, do you think the mafia’s actions were planned by a mastermind?

I think AC is a civ. I think he was contacted and silenced. The LG block isn’t worth the trade off of not getting an extra recruit.

That’s usually my fall back strategy on Day 1, because fuck Day 1, I think there is more to work with today however. I’m still going to wait for Oerba and Chief’s Last Gasps before I make any rulings
