<—I didn’t want anymore Fuzz block of text. :nono:
I know what he said. He said:
heh heh
we we
who’s going to kry tonite?
Blame DC for this one, because who would leave crypt without a P?
These will show you that I at least, am reading the thread.
Plus when did Alpha give him this avatar. Not figuring contact thru other means, just wondering the timeline. And why would he be working… with AlphaComMan. Sworn enemy.
I know a major flaw in the plan, unsaid. Maybe you trickle out some more about it, and we both talk it out. If Fuzz doesn’t get, in the, way, of everything over here. Will he let you talk to Chief or will he say what he’s saying about the plan he said that Chief says should say to you?!
I don’t have a problem with killing Fuzz, I wanted to do it pretty much all of last game. You know I play a lot of the game based on making reads and gut feeling, so I’d want to do something when I feel the need to. I’m down for Fuzz though - I just don’t have a read on him yet.
I have feelings towards Oerba, Co-Jones and Pimp Willy though.
But yeah, let’s vote Fuzz. I want to know though, Forge and Vynce are you guys also on board?
Do you guys think mafia took a 6th man or an LG block? At first I thought a 6th man was the obvious choice, but after thinking a bit more and seeing how damaging late game LG’s can be like with @aidebit last game, it’s obvious that is the better choice however, but to counter that civs can easily post a pre emptive LG if they see it coming so if mafia are aware of that mind game I’m really not sure lol. It may be adding unnecessary stress thinking about it now, but it’s something to keep in mind as the game progresses.
The powder keg that started it all…can’t we have a simple stress free game for once!..Just kidding I’m sure any of us would have asked this question if you hadn’t as the witness ability does stick out in this game. Anyways without getting into the more complex aspects of this choice as others I quoted below have noted I’m saying it’s a bad idea because it ties up the medic from saving other potentially more vital targets, and more importantly the numbers are on our side as it’s much more likely the witness will survive on his own rather than be dead by day3, because if witness ends up on the chopping block before day 3 he can always RC to save himself, while vigi or whoever takes care of the counter claim.
At first I was happy you brought it up so early, but then I became a little suspicious of you after reading this post by PW…
Of course this could be exactly what it looks like at face value; a civ (DG) posing a reasonable question with another civ PW) jumping in to answer it as the rest of us have, but thinking about it a little more and what these two players are capable of, it reads so much more like a perfectly planned mafia play to get us to role hunt for them.
Just read both of these posts especially PW’s under the assumption that they are mafia and it really is a smart cover up, which I’m almost ready to bank my own life on.
I had to read the bolded part of RF’s post a few times before catching it I seriously have no idea if it was role hunting bait or just a brai fart on his part, but considering that we missed it at first I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt that it’s the latter…wait a minute you agreeing with Pie?..okay this may tie into some quotes below in this post…
Why did you need MP to tell you that Spy can’t RC when it’s clearly already written in his OP? And why didn’t you put high stock into Witness surviving till day 3 without protection? A simple look at the probability would show you that it’s much more unlikely he would be night killed before day 3, remember witness can RC if he’s about to be bandwagoned so that leaves a 1/23 chance of him being killed night 1 and 1/22 chance of being killed night 2 and that is assuming mafia took a 6th man. Medic and UC targeting the same player is very unlikely before day3, the probability of that happening gets higher as the game goes on, so now would be the best chance to capitalize on that.
You’re the one who positied the plan and asked if it was a good idea, then PW quickly followed up with support for it, and you promptly agree despite the obvious holes I pointed out. It’s looking more and more that both of you are mafia, or at least PW is and pounced on the chance you’ve given him to use the witnessed demon as a decoy.
Most of the games that civilians win are attained by exploiting loopholes in the rules/roles and working together combining roles to ensure some level of trust that can be built upon and you want us to ignore that because you don’t have faith in any of us in to play our part? You were on my team last game as mafia and our goal the whole time was to cause mass confusion and team disarray, so now the next game you say that’s a good idea under the guise of a civ? I’m not explicitly calling you mafia, but at the very least you’re contradicting you’re own strategy which at the moment I can’t tell if it’s because you’re mafia again or just being an overly cautious, cynical civ.
I know you’re joking, but inevitably I always seem to be a default lynch target when civs have no real lead, and I’m sure that goes double this time considering what I tried last game, but at the very least you need to look at the evidence and make the choice that benefits the team not your own personal vendetta against me…unless both of those goals coincide then I’m fucked lol.
You marking PW’s post that I quoted above as insightful wasn’t especially noteworthy until I read this post from you, which reads like a fellow mafia supporting the planned logic of a teammate, you might be new, but if PW is mafia as I suspect then you might be too, and I like the doubtful touch you added at the end, skeptical support is one of the most common mafia tactics. Don’t worry, you’re not a suspect to me unless PW is confirmed as mafia and even then you could very well be a civ who was duped by PW. Look at the risk to reward ratio as I said above in this same post, it’s not worth it if you look at the stats.
I see we both had the same idea, lol it was nice to see how you thought as mafia last game and now we’re on the same page here but as (hopefully) civs.
Kind of a longshot, but still it’s another hole in the plan. Also do you really think chief was informant’s most likely target this game? You have a point that game was lulz, but PW’s post below sums it up best:
Yeah no kidding DG set off so much toasting we’ll all be drunker than a freshman at a kegger.
Lando is black so how can be clean?
Again, why factor day lynches into it? Witness RC nullifies them, so yes the witness protection plan does up our chances of getting the witnessed demon, but it’s too much of a risk and too little a reward to be worth it. You’re really pushing this plan despite the flawed logic.
FOR THE LAST FUCKING TIME PLEASE REFER TO PLAYERS WITH ROLES AS THE ROLE NAMES THEMSELVES DON’T USE THE SRK NAMES THANK YOU!
We both had the same line of reasoning however, you diverged by putting the accusation on pie while I put it on PW. okay different targets, but we both see what is happening here (unless you’re mafia trying to cover up your possible role hunt slip up =P). Assuming for the moment you’re not mafia, look at my response to PW and pie in this post, I’d much rather kill PW before pie, although I may support your vote eventually.
Okay so in a roundabout way you’re agreeing with pie’s logic while also randomly throwing an accusation at RF…hmmm if pie is mafia then you most likely are too as it’s mroe likely you would be a fellow mafia bolstering his logic and manipulating us civs rather than be a civ who got fell for pie’s trap.
Usually I’m with that, but this time around we’re fundamentally opposed as I see the toast flying around at Mach 5 with DG’s plan and I’m not about to miss my butter prep time. With al this talk about the witness plan and it’s pros and cons it’s fertle ground for mafia manipulation, so it would be a big mistake to ignore the opportunity we have in mining that.
After all that you now backpedal on your stance to neutral? You didn’t believe in the plan due to it requiring a minimum degree of teamwork now you champion civs working together? Are you John Kerry? The plan is swiss cheese, backoff if you want to live.
@synonym THANK YOU at least someone here isn’t being pied pipered with this stupid witness plan and is thinking critically.
@godotsrevenge I made that post without reading the thread, only the roles so at that time I was thinking “well if there’s a bandwagon forming on carpenter and he RC’s to save himself then it doesn’t matter as mafia will kill him that night anyways so maybe he can somehow pin the lynch on someone else without exposing himself”, but your logic is sound, an RC from carpenter pending an impending lynch can give us a chance to at least nail a mafia if nothing else instead of a civ that day.
@sumazndude By following your decision making on who to kill, when, and why. Take the damn compliment doofus =P.
I’ll assume everyone actively participating in this game has read my long text above. With that being said if PW, pie, and DG are all confirmed civs I’ll vote for myself to be lynched. I strongly believe one of them to be dirty.
LOL I just now realized that Hax is playing with us for real this time. God, I almost want to lynch him on the spot, cause I’m fucking frightened of having to decipher his drops if he ends up Mafia.
If we can cut down the quotes to just the talking point you want to continue from that will be great. Yeaaaaaah.
I’m also guilty of this and didn’t explicitly highlight the “we we” and look what happens. zooblander. :nono: Sliced the crap out of Fuzz’s hourglass IM style chat relay though. :nunchuck:
I’m willing to hold off on RF for now, but I’m curious. I wanna wait until I hear from Vynce again. I know Chief only did it because Vynce did, kaz was only joking around when he did it, and Alpha is just super salty; the only one I don’t understand is Vynce.
