Anyone else having issue logging in/viewing GD in general? Pages just doesn’t load for me for some reason and I’ve been trying since lunch time.
Anyways, Of all the people to be offed, it just had to be the Detective; now this shits going to be even more confusing. Then again Co_Jones didn’t even bother voting which is either:
(a) a new level of “strategy”(?). He was so busy investigating everyone he forgot the vote phase(?) I’ll admit I’m a wallflower in these games but nigga even I know when to vote
(b) Special-Ed-Olympic candidate.
I think that food-orgy convo earlier has no bearing whatsoever in this game; just 2 dudes confessing their love imo.
You know what’s unsettling, OZ actually making it past first night. Not a suspect yet but is in my radar.
Maaaaan, DRD is not in this game  . Who going to provide statistics?
@Bious : Nigga numbers don’t mean shiat w/o presentation. It’s ALL about the presentation!

I believe Alpha was the first to bring up his name and it was for good reason. However, the issue isn’t that lynching wallflowers is dumb, its lynching wallflowers in this particular game setup is dumb.
People think oh, lets clear the dead weight, but then as we clear wallflower #4 on day 4, mafia is now able to kill/convert 5/6 civs per night.
How exactly does that help us? @Icege ?
i’m not sure i fully follow your logic on this one.
godotsrevenge’s comment isn’t really that out of place, which makes me wonder if OZ is pushing a bit too hard.
OZ is only sober once in a lifetime, he’s got to make it count.

I refuse to talk to you until Barry-O comes back.
Still not convinced. All roles involved must trust one another to commit to the human cause and submit their actions on time and correctly. Quite a risk. The reward isn’t that high–one person (or maybe two), both of whom might be idiots and would withhold/disclose that information at the wrong time, gets the role identities of some critical roles. The worst-case scenario is a disaster. Monsters get knowledge that amounts to a game-winning advantage.
Given all that, the incentive for the jailer to run off and join a monster faction, and bring that game-winning advantage with him, is too high. Seeing ahead to that, the participants would have some uncertain judgments before them and the web of trust would inevitably break down.
Too much of a risk in my view, but let’s keep talking.
WAIT A MINUTE. Are you the guy from this week’s Tosh.0?

That’s what I was asking. It’s a somewhat risky play, but then we get a lot of confirmed civs which is huge.
This is of course assuming the Soldier thinks Vynce is clean because if he doesn’t he might just let the assassination go through.
But I do have a question. If the Soldier does protect Vynce from VH, the Jailer would still get the information of the VH target correct?
Since nobody explained or even cares about this G thing , which ain’t nothing but a: G-thang, baby~
I took the time, please check for errors in data collection

That’s the weak link, having to trust the other roles. I’m sure that each pairing will be discussing it in their PM and come to their own conclusions about how much information they’re willing to provide. Don’t forget also that, even if the Soldier dies and the Jailer’s identity is somehow made public, the Jailer can only be recruited by one faction. If we’re going to go through with this, the Jailer will be a valuable asset to both the Vampires & Werewolves, so it’s very possible that they fight each other to bite him and/or try to get him killed once bitten.
Personally, I’d trust about 95% of the players here, if they were the appropriate roles, to at the very least consider the possibility and su bmit their action if they’re going through with it.
Another thing I just noticed, each faction has a way to kill off their own members without letting them receive a Last Gasp. Vampires can sacrifice a member as any role and Dracula forges a LG, and Werewolves can Assassinate their own member and just deny him a Last Gasp.
“If the jailed player is targeted at night, the user of the ability will be revealed to the jailer”
I interpret that as target = name, regardless of whether the action is successful.

Will get everyone else when I’m off of work.
so you care to explain that suspicion chart, or can we all just post names and random numbers pulled from a hat?

I trust 0% of the players to do the right thing. This is a game of deception.
And, this particular play is classic game theory. If everyone cooperates, it could work. But if one person cheats, they could take all.
Let’s keep talking. I think that as we continue, you’re at least giving me information on your worldview.

This is a game of deception, but it is guaranteed that the roles involved are, at the moment and for a short while afterwards, civilian. In this case if one person cheats (Jailer wants to get bitten) then he will get lynched and lose the game. While I wouldn’t like trusting others to handle this correctly, all parties involved are by definition on the same side. Mafia will have no access to that information unless they get the Jailer, and we will not have access to that information until the Jailer deems it appropriate. These terms are acceptable to me.
