No Lynch was the better option without a good candidate, you put the words in his mouth for him - yes he didn’t say anything, but how many times have players said they think Mafia has already started making moves and manipulating? While it is possible for Vynce to be affected by actions tonight, the Jailer will know who used them. This lowers the possibility of him being Promoted to zero and by being in Jail, Vynce can not Promote his underlings if he is the big bad.
We can use this to inform the Jailer of the identities of our roles. If the Priest, Fortune Teller, and Witch all target Vynce, effectively nothing will happen but the Jailer will learn their identities. I’d advise Helsing and the Doctor to hold unless they’re 139% sure, but in the event Helsing or the Doctor kills Vynce then the Jailer will know his/their persona(s) as well. If we’re afraid of the possibility of the information being used against us if he gets converted, there is a way to guarantee the Town will know.
The Jailer will get the identities of the roles, and restate them in the Jailer-Soldier PM. While both are alive they cannot be bitten. In the event one of the two dies, or the time is right for the information to be released, the survivor will post the identities of the roles they have received. In the event that, through some odd series of actions, one is bitten the same night the other is killed, the bite will not take effect because at the time of the action the partner was still alive.
However, this relies on the Jailer not screwing with us, and the Jailer not being willing to abandon us if he gets bitten. Thoughts, everyone?

Ooh. I like this. And Vynce doesn’t necessarily have die for the Jailer to find out who Van Helsing is. Just have both Van Helsing and the Soldier target Vynce. Vynce is protected and the Jailer gets to know who Van Helsing is.

I’m not sure if by “follow” you mean “agree” or “understand” but the whole point I’m making with my stance is we don’t have time to waste lynches on people who aren’t suspicious (i.e. wallflowers). Suspicious wallflowers are fine. Wallflowers that just are wallflowers, not so much.
