SRK Mafia XI: Vampires Vs Werewolves - Game Over: Town Wins!

If Mafia is stupid enough to get Lynched Day 1 then they’re the ones that are free. I’ve never seen a Mafia get lynched Day 1 where it wasn’t a colossal fuck up on their part.

But I’m sorry you’re the most omnipotent player ever. Please tell us all the Mafia players that outed themselves before the votes even went up.

As i said on previous games, i preffer to speak only if i have something relevant to say in the discussion.
If i am a low tier civ because i preffer to wait and see instead of jumping at “day one reads” so be it.

Here in lies the problem. Chief please grasp our hands and guide us to victoly!

The difference between my reads and the majority of players pretending to play is I’m putting in work and showing it.

How the fuck for you even have a write to even ask me for my list?

Do something worthwhile first so I don’t feel like I’m coaching mafia then maybe once I know who’s actually playing I’ll feel like its cool to discuss strategy openly.

Chief’s point is that you don’t need to sit around and wait for something to develop, so you have something to say. Go out there and make something happen by starting discussions, pressing people, theorizing, whatever you want to do. Figure out your own way to move the discussion forward. We don’t have to wait X number of days before we can start making good reads. Yes, having phases pass gives us reliable information–full identification of targets and who voted for whom–but we don’t need to wait for it.

For my own vote, I’ll admit a little bit of anger was involved. I consider it a personal insult that CJ couldn’t even be bothered. Not a rational decision and obviously the wrong one. Going forward, I think there are grounds for some more informed reads.

I don’t honestly give a shit about your list. You know why? Because I don’t give a shit about ANYONE’S Day 1 Lists.

Rushing in on someone day 1 is how you waste half-decent players.

Now after Day 1 if we’re still trimming the fat? Then fine, call people out for pussy moves. But on Day 1, doing anything more than that would be stupidity at it’s finest.

GODDAMMIT PEOPLE.

Both Adam and I said no to Co-Jo.

Given his track record, and my predilections… was that not enough for you?

Fine by me. Some of go to practice mode to do shit other people can’t do. Others go in to practice what’s other people do. It is what it is.

I’ve already stated, this game is setup to end fast if we don’t hit mafia fast. In that light I’m doing what I can as an unconfirmed civ to win.

Hate it or not. Its the most efficient strategy I believe we have until someone proves otherwise.

I really don’t like this condescending shit you’re bringing down. If you want to decide that no one’s good enough to play with you and Azure or whatever, than fine. But I don’t like people whining like a bitch when we decide to get rid of someone who didn’t even bother to show up. Some people like yourself may consider it a waste of a lynch, but when the Vamps/Wolves won’t bother with him anyway the only thing you’d be doing is flipping a coin and PRAYING you hit something Day 1.

Now we have information, more of which we’ll get during this Night Phase. Now we can play the efficient game. I don’t hate the strategy, but in no way should it start Day 1. At that point you might as well be doing the Mafia’s job for them.

Oh man here we go, mr. Pretentious shining and beaming in his over confidence, lol.

To me it seems that Chief is forgetting that different people has different ways to play, not to mention that everyone is playing under different circumstances, sometimes some don’t have the time to play as active as they will like so they play a more passive game (my case for example), also he seems to be under the impression that everyone that is quiet is waiting for the top dogs to do their moves and follow blindly.

Like it or not this is a game where we have to work with different types of people with different ways of aproaching the game. The 1st day will be always harder to get a real consensus, i certainly feel bad that my descision of going after the most quiet player backfire and i can understand that some people feel mad about it, but coming here and act arrogantly because our descision wasn’t correct is just plain dumb.

I also stand in my position that wating and seeing how day one developes is better than jumping at hunches specially when many start going after each others throats, worst case scenario i take a side and end burned (though i end burned anyway )

@Saitsu - You’ve made your personality loud and clear to the majority of SRK. That shit won’t work on me bruh.

TCJ was a bad lynch. I laid out why. It got ignored. Here we are.

If you still want to follow the same trend that made that happen, I can’t stop you. But I’m making it crystal clear that my intentions are. This is a game. And even though I said I would pull back and gave more fun, I still find myself grinding it out to get a win.

I’m not going to argue about my opinion vs yours so just drop it.

Moving on.

I’m all for lynching wallflowers, but you haven’t said shit since the game started and now you post when everyone is on the TCJ bandwagon, definitely smacks of mafia body surfing.

Also this MP/Azure beef that suddenly started on page 10 came out of nowhere, almost as if it was planned, way too clean and sterile to be an organic disagreement, although that can certainly be the case, but for now these two are at the top of my suspect list.

@Hecatom - Do you feel like my intentions are for good intentions or bad?

I can come across as an ass often. I know that, but ultimately I’m doing what I feel I need to do to win.

Not many people are pushing anyone else for info…
Not many people are sharing opinions…
Not many people seem to even care…

That’s what I’m seeing. I can assure you that when this is all done, I’ll still join the next game and be happy to play. This isn’t my first game. Personalities play a big factor in making reads. I’m just trying to share my opinion on what I think is going on and hopefully get people on board to keep things in order.

I concur. I’m not trying to make best friends. You called it like you see it… so what next? Hopefully we can focus on lynching mafia.

What won’t work on you? I am what I am.

TCJ wasn’t a bad lynch. It’s only a bad lynch if he decided to play and was just lurking. THEN it’s a bad lynch and I’d take full responsibility for a fuckup. But he simply decided to not even bother showing up.

I know an argument can be made for “Well, if he really wasn’t playing, we just ignore him through Day 2 and if he’s really AWOL, he’s just DQ’d, no lynch wasted”. But if he makes one vote during Day 2 quietly and continues to that then we’d still have to waste a potential lynch on him eventually. Only then, it would be wasting time dealing with him rather than using the actual information we would have gathered by then.

And if you’re not going to argue opinions then you’re in the wrong game. If there’s nothing else I’ve learned from the shitty way I’ve played the last two games, it’s that if you don’t argue your opinions, not even fact but opinions to at least try to get people on your side, then you might as well just give up. Because then it just becomes about ego, no one ends up on the same page, and again you’re doing the Mafia’s job for them.

Now if you have a personal problem with me, we can take that shit up later when the game is over. But for now, instead of people whining about TCJ being lynched, let’s take what we learned from that and get to the next damn Day Phase.

Too soon to tell imo (If i say yes it will imply that i think that you are indeed a civ), i know that you are a player that is very confident in your opinion and your strategy, so if you are a civ i certainly think that you will not have a problem to voice your thoughts about the current situation, and i am pretty sure that anyone here that takes the game seriously enough is here to win so i think that everyone is doing what they think it will maximize our chances of winning.

Also, as i said before, i don’t take what is said on those games seriously, i am pretty sure that i am not the only one who succumbs to his passions when playing the game and feels the need to vent and call everyone a dumb motherfucker and tells them to go fuck temselves from time to time

As for no one pushing anyone else for info, perhaps is true in some way, i certainly feel that we need to start pressing against some people like SAD, but at the same time i think that allowing other people banter between each other and see it from the sidelines give me some ideas of where to push. Of course, i think that i still need to wait until the end of the night phase, we don’t want to give the scums some insight before we can take any action.

Noah Saitsu. I think you’re confusing where the blame is being placed.

Its the strategy that I’m pointing my finger to. Not the voters. The voting for wallflowers is an easy answer. People took that took that route too easy in my opinion.

I have no problem with you at all. I was going to chime in when you chatted with CK to say I’d take you as a teammate over TCJ regarding the levels activity.

All of this banter back and forth is good. I just didn’t want it to sidetrack into something else.

I know that the Wallflower vote is a bit too easy, but sometimes you have to take the easy route.

Trying to force into a harder, more complex strategy just for the sake of it can cause issues. I should know, because doing so in my last game caused my civilian squad to be decimated because GodotsRevenge seemed too damn obvious to be Mafia…and he actually was.

You can’t afford to outthink yourself too much. Yeah due to this game’s format we have to mobilize quicker, but we still need the Day 1 free Lynch to gather ourselves.

No.

You are sounding WAY Mafia, my son.

EXACTLY.

Come out swinging, let the dialogue flow, and make some goddamned reads.

It is the only way.
