I am still pretty salty at how people who haven’t really done much get rewarded with monopoly points but there were some spectacular civilian plays this game.

gg’s to everyone, I’m glad I was vindicated in that OZ was UC and I called it, and probably protected him from a lynch too, especially since Mafia knew he was UC and was gearing up to lynch him. I thought the “Otaku” angle was genius, because the only person who could disprove it was the actual otaku and the mafia (at that point, I was convinced he was mafia). Funnily enough, the person who called me out on it the most was Pie, and that was why I started being convinced he was dirty.
Props to IL for actually stepping up and bitch slapping all the civs into stop being stupid as fuck. You guys were ready to lynch Augustus for fucks sake. And you all took Synonyms claim of being UC at face value way too fast, it was like you all had short memories OR you didn’t trust my reads. Hope you learned your lesson! IL stepped up and saved the day, good shit man, the end game was almost lost until you saved it. Big props for that clutch play.
MP and RF, you guys need to work on your clutch. Closing out a game does not appear to be your specialties.
Also, as a whole, the abundance of roles made us civs really fucking lazy. Mafia had to work extra hard around the roles, and we were content to just sit back and let Hecatom feed us a new role everyday so we can try to figure out who was who. If AC had actually recruited somebody off the wall with shitty powers, we’d have been content to overlook him and lynch the scarier roles. I guess it’s the nature of a game with all powers, but it doesn’t feel satisfying at all to win like that in my opinion.
I vote RF loses 3 points for changing the lynch to a non mafia, when there were so many mafia to actually choose from that he didn’t at the last minute : P

I agree though that my endgame reads were spotty. My midgame reads were pretty stacked. I LOL hard at naming 3 of 4 remaining mafia at one point and watching them all fall in near succession.
But I really don’t understand how I let Forge slip by me. It was literally a 50/50. Augustus was ratting out way too many mafia members to be mafia himself.
Literally Augustus scares me. Him and Alpha were my biggest threats in the RE game, because AC was sniffing hard on me early on, and then suddenly Augustus developed tunnel vision on me and was right.
Yeah, and once you got some of that dirt off your shoulders that you were waving around that game, now your game is pretty solid. I actually think I saw something, but forget what it is right now, that basically unofficially wrote you off to me for the majority of the game. Even when you were making those bizarre Ross Perot like roleclaims.
Don’t let it get to your head though. Just keep playing your game. Your civ reads are a huge asset to us, and you and kaz and Azure are ones that I’m starting to develop good civ reads on that I trust highly to procure good play and good ideas to bounce off of.
I think that there needs to be a slight change in the point system regarding lynches.
+1(+2?) point for successfully lynching someone of opposite alignment (this rewording is key)
-1 point for successfully lynching a civilian while not mafia
This makes it so that mafia side can be more rewarded, so I wasn’t sure of the +2. I just think there needs to be some sort of penalty for lynching wrong to counteract those that just vote with the mob and get points when the mob’s right.

Yeah, I agree with the points for lynching thing. Mafia needs to be rewarded for each civ they manage to get lynched.
civs need to be rewarded for each mafia that gets lynched. (I don’t agree that you should get a point for voting mafia if they aren’t successfully lynched, though it does promote not just following the bandwagon).
roles that can earn points should also be able to lose them (i.e. RF changing the lynch to a civ should be - points, nurse protecting a mafia from a vigi kill - points, etc).
