Solid work @Azure! Otaku’s toast. And honestly, forgive me if losing PW doesn’t break my heart. Between the early-game sniping that almost got him and RF lynched, and the weird OZ roleclaim protection thing, I honestly think he confused people to the detriment of our cause.

All that said, this can be the backbreaker if we’re careful and effective in our research. In the Phoenix Wright game, we really got a head of steam going after we achieved some mid-game mafia deaths. I think they’re very valuable. You can go through the thread and identify unequivocal mafia behavior, and see who the mafia tried to cast suspicion on and who they tried to protect. Today, I’m going to analyze Chief’s posts and the posts around him to see if there’s anything we can use to identify the next lynch target.

And, DG’s LG is interesting. I’m hearing my name pop up on a lot of lists, but to recap the actual arguments I’ve seen:

1. MP thinks I’m suspicious for suggesting the vigi continue to kill night after night. MP: do you still think that? Chief’s fat head on a stick suggests otherwise.
2. The analysis I’ve done to date has not directly led to mafia deaths, which is true of literally everyone else in the thread except Azure. Let’s be honest: AC was an easy play given the info we had at the time. Nobody should be taking too much credit for that. There are others who suspected Chief, but did not lead a wagon on him. To date, Azure has been the only one who made a decisive move against a mafia via an independent judgment.
3. DG thinks I was ghost-writing Chief’s posts. And as a result, I’m top of his list. Really? That’s infeasible for a whole host of reasons, but hey, keep eating that Jesus Toast, I guess.
4. Pimp Willy claimed I fell into a “trap” by buddying up to him, but I was actually clearly in the midst of criticizing his asinine OZ roleclaim thing rather than buddying him. He was referring to where I commented on the one solid point he made on what roles are actually likely mafia… and it’s possible he didn’t even realize his point was valid, since he was trying to “trick” me. Seriously, that all warrants me being a top suspect? Anything I missed? DG is right about one thing. I am having a ton of fun listing all the conspiracy theories. If I do die, you’ll look back at these posts and have a case of the @RadicalFuzz tunnel vision regrets. In the meantime, I’m going to block out the fluff and do some real research. I’m playing to win.

Also, Mobius you seem to be selectively interpreting DG’s LG. I’ll agree that Pie is suspicious but it looks like Azure cleared that up. The only other people who seriously considered me being Mafia was surprisingly enough Chief, Mobius and Synonym.

If Chief comes up as Mafia tonight the people who I’m considering is one of his partners is Pietastic, Mobius and Synonym. Chiefs responses has reminded me of responses that Pietastic would usually give.

Mobius. Do I even need to type that I think he’s dirty? He’s one of the 3 people who have been whispering what Fluff wanted to hear, he’s been sucking up to him all game long. He hasn’t contributed much to the thread. HE WAS ONE OF THE FIRST PEOPLE TO TAKE UP FOR ALPHA COMMANDOS INNOCENCE RIGHT AFTER WE LEARNED HE WAS FORGED. He talked about the role of Asahina a ton in the beginning of the game, it just so happened that AC claimed Asahina. I believe firmly that AC roleclaimed Asahina because he had no fear of a Civ counter claiming him.

I’ve been scrutinised already and so has Pie. I think either today or tomorrow it would be a great time for you to be put on trial as well.

Before Bious could revealed it was Alpha, I was one of the first to suggest that the mafia might have forged one of their own.

If I was a Mafia Idol, would I try to mess up an investigation or forge a Mafia member?

With the mafia knowing about the existence of your ability and not selecting you as their teammate, it would be a viable move for them to feign framing one of their own.
This way, after you used your ability, they’ll be able to mitigate the amount civilians your ability could potentially clear whilst pseudo-clearing one of their own.

However, if they planned no such thing, then whoever the forger targeted might be a civilian.

Thus, I have no idea why would DarkGeneral say such a thing.
He might have cherry-picked and ignored the first paragraph.
