Dear Diary,
Today I was killed by @RadicalFuzz, who was one of the top 3 mafia game players in my eyes. I guess the legends never live up to the hype. Even though Hecatom hinted strongly that I was probably civ after he said he found out who had the Junko role. Fear not though RadicalFuzz, pick your bootstraps up and nail some mafia, you owe me that much. Get your mind together and think the right way, you have the talent you just need to utilize it better. I flagged your post as “abuse” because you abused your power, instead of using it on a consensus pick or someone that was really acting odd you used your ability on me. The only other people who seriously considered me being Mafia was surprisingly enough Chief, Mobius and Synonym.
I’m tight that Chief somehow survived longer than me. Even though in my mind he is surefire mafia, the only possible explanation for is actions is that he’s Civ Leon or Gundam. By the time you guys read this you should be finding out his allegiance and role. If Chief comes up as Mafia tonight the people who I’m considering is one of his partners is Pietastic, Mobius and Synonym. Chiefs responses has reminded me of responses that Pietastic would usually give.
The words Chief have used and how his responses are worded gives me a strong impression of Pietastic. However I wouldn’t put it past Mobius/Synonym to use Pietastic as a blueprint to feed Chief lines. The reason why I’m mentioning this is because last game when I thought Pie was mafia, I levied allegations of him consulting with his mafia partner on how a post should look before posting in the thread. It’s possible that Syn or Mobius remembered what I said last game and is trying to set Pietastic up. But for now I lean towards Pietastic more than the other 2. that’s if/when Chief comes up as Mafia.
@Pietastic. He hasn’t seemed very suspicious. Except for telling me to slow down (which was later echo’d by Chief). He’s pretty much played like he have last game, except he seems like he’s having more fun when being questioned. Other than that, I don’t got shit on him, other than Chiefs posts sounding like they were prepared by Pietastic.
@Mobius. Do I even need to type that I think he’s dirty? He’s one of the 3 people who have been whispering what Fluff wanted to hear, he’s been sucking up to him all game long. He hasn’t contributed much to the thread. HE WAS ONE OF THE FIRST PEOPLE TO TAKE UP FOR ALPHA COMMANDOS INNOCENCE RIGHT AFTER WE LEARNED HE WAS FORGED. He talked about the role of Asahina a ton in the beginning of the game, it just so happened that AC claimed Asahina. I believe firmly that AC roleclaimed Asahina because he had no fear of a Civ counter claiming him.
@Synonym. I want to trust him, but he has been flying under everyones radar. He hasn’t really done anything too suspicious other than not voting for Alpha Commando. Saying everyone is glazing over what he posts is pretty truthful. It’s also an excuse I remember Chief used back in the South Park game to cover up for him “playing differently”. Keep an eye on Synonym, he’s a strong player.
You need to put @Orochizoolander on a limited health plan: 2 nights (max) to produce fruit (including the night preceding my death) or he eats a lynch/gunshot. I’ve had my suspicions about OZ since back on page 8 or so when he said he deserves to get lynched if he can’t contribute. I played along with Willy’s plan to protect OZ but right now his leash should be short, if he doesn’t produce investigation results he should be lynched or shot.
WAH. How is it even possible to read him? This guys posts are like a 5 way mixup every time you read them. However with that being said, I usually have no trouble understanding Hax’s regular posts, but in this game after a couple of people said his contributions dropped off he inexplicably showed up and started to post like a madman. To be honest I couldn’t understand most of those posts, one of the first times I couldn’t understand what he was trying to convey in his posts. The only other thing about him that was off, was this one particular post. But due to the nature of Hax’s post in general it could just be jesus toast.
Can you guys remember that Infrequent Lurker is playing in this game? Like, can you guys get this man to contribute? Not only Is this dude flying under our radars, he’s dry humping the antanae that picks up your signals. Funnily enough, the only person who has tried to challenge him has been HAX.
@ForgeDigger, can you guys remember this guy exists as well? Actually since I had the time on my hands, I looked into ForgeDigger myself. His first post was of him checking in and saying he thinks both Fuzz and Willy was civs, THIS was the guy you guys were referring to that came in calling both of you civs. Page 12, he asks Willy if he’s willing to offer himself up so that Asahina would get the Vals name. He’s one of the first people to send in a vote for Alpha Commando. He has never trusted OZ and he understood the role claiming I was doing. Overall the guy seems to be on his P’s and Q’s, no matter what allegiance he holds.
@Augustus has been a more vocal version of ForgeDigger. Someone else that’s living can check him out. I’m dead and this last gasp is already going to be long.
@Azure, if you and the UC live long enough you might want to consider calling out your shots, your paparazzi snapshots that is. If you say who you’re following for the night, you’ll give the UC a great chance to investigate someone who isn’t being targeted by you. Additionally if Hecatom survives the night, his ability of learning who has what roles will greatly benefit this plan. If you do this you’ll be able to pincer the Mafia’s ability to use Maizono while casting a big info gathering net for night phases.
@Hecatom, don’t worry about not saying the role I had before I died. An angel could have descended from heaven and told Fuzz not to lynch me and he still would have changed the vote to me. Seriously though the blame is all on me for not telling you to say I was Junko sooner.
Roles
Here’s my ranking of likely mafia roles from who I believe is most likely to least like:
1: Maizono (forger)
2: Asahina (vigi immune)
3: Touka (civ when killed)
4: Celeste (innocent when investigated)
5: Leon/Chihiro (Role Blocker and Phase Ender)
6: Hifumi/Naegi (See’s UC targets and 2 lives)
I think Naegi, Chihiro and Hifumi are the wild card roles. I wouldn’t exactly be shocked if AC recruited them to spice up his roster, but ultimately I think they are lesser possibilities because they don’t have much synergy with Sonia and the Forgers ability. Then again AC didn’t recruit either medics OR Oogami.

- Junko. Sacrificing her to protect another player from a day lynch only prolongs the other Mafia member’s death.

4 strongest:
- Maizono. With Kirigiri being the only confirmed Civ role, being able to manipulate her results is a powerful tool. Also prevents the Civs from being able to use the target ability.
- Fujisaki. An easy way to force a quick game over (when numbers are nearing even). For example, let’s say it’s 7 Civs/5 Mafia/1 Nagito. Day phase is announced, Fujisaki submits his lynch vote immediately and ends the day phase. One vote is recorded and that person is lynched.
- Ishimaru. Has the advantage over Mikan of being able to use his ability without everyone knowing that role is Mafia. Also takes away the temporary immunity.
- Koizumi. Her ability used in conjunction with the Mafia kill allows for an easy find of the Medic if the target is protected that night. ‘If you successfully protect someone, you die.’ is an amazingly powerful role.
If you’d like any justification on the reason any of the other roles weren’t mentioned, I can share my thoughts on their individual strengths and weaknesses. Here’s a couple that I think deserve special mention:
Togami. His role in itself isn’t particularly powerful (at all), but his Civ ability could be used to jeopardise certain Mafia roles, so taking that away from the civs would be a priority where the Mafia team makes it obvious which roles are Mafia.
Asahina. Her Mafia role isn’t particularly special (it can even be incriminating), but her Civ ability is a threat to the Valedictorian. If Asahina does turn out to be Mafia, we should be looking at the selfish, egotistical players for potential Valedictorians.
Oowada. Another one of the characters more focused on the statistical victory of Mafia. Slightly more advantageous than Chiaki, as a Mafia member is day lynched/Syo killed instead of sacrificed. Keep an eye out for Oowada if Fujisaki is Mafia and vice versa.
Nekomaru. A very ballsy recruit possibility. It works on the preface that Nekomaru is controlled by a powerful player, so he would only be recruited by someone who likes to gamble. If Nekomaru was an insightful player, that would not only give Mafia continuous support, but it would stop the Civs from receiving their continuous support. Would be more likely to be recruited if someone powerful hinted that role in the sign-up thread before allegiances were chosen. As far as I can tell, I don’t think there was anyone that did this.

1: Confirmed Mafia
2: Role at large. Whoever this role is used the ability AFTER C_K was lynched and Bious said that the programmer should use their ability if they think mafia is going for a double kill at night. On the other hand the ability was also used after Co-Jones was shot and killed. If Co-Jones was mafia, AND Fujisaki was recruited mafia could have popped this role to stop the bleeding. Either way this role in my mind is a tossup, a true 50/50.
