Oh also for the newbies keep in mind that to win all mafia has to do is convince a few people to vote a certain way and then everyone else will hop on the bandwagon, rinse, and repeat. it’s happened before.
The agonizing part is that as much As I hate to admit it going against the grain without a good reason can potentially hurt civs just as much so it almost seems like a lose/lose situation. Mafia games can often have a domino effect, 1 small mistake snowballs into something bigger

they would kill you because you talk a lot and can get people on your side to vote who you want. you did a good job right now, don’t you say? either way its going to be three people dead unless day two everyone votes no lynch, which is still stupid to say. you have a better chance dying from Mafia than a day lynch. even I know that.
Uh… SWBeta’s MVC3 game would have, based on the format. Also, the effectiveness of No Lynch becomes less as the game goes, until the very last moment when no lynch is used to prevent an even # headcount. If there was any point to no lynch other than the particular situation that I have mentioned, it would be day 1.
Also, # of civs can be misleading if you do not pay attention on the # of mafia members. In a game of smaller #, the suggested mafia to civ ratio would be 1:3. However if the starting # is high, the ratio would have to be 1:5 or beyond to maintain the likely balance in the long run. Currently we have 1 : 4.5 for whooping 40 players, and I am certainly not feeling any # advantage as you may be.
Again, this is a lost cause since I don’t think we will be agreeing w/ each other any time soon. You come out to be a painfully obvious civ to me (and likely many others), and you are valuable for at least the headcount. We will just have to watch the game unfold and see how it goes, yeah?
But that doesn’t guarantee three civs dead. You made it sound like three civs are dead. So either you know something we don’t, or you’re trying too hard right now.
Very true. For all I know, I’m immune with Nova or She-Hulk. I do not know this for sure, but we shall see. This will be a very interesting night phase.
That’s once we see the end of the Day Phase, I may have to crash regardless, but my body is not ready until I see the results.
@SWBeta, if She-Hulk or Nova protects a night kill, does the target get revealed to the group, the target through PM, or does basically only the protector and the Mafia know the target?
That’s if Nova, Strange, or She-Hulk protects me during night phase. Otherwise, if the Plan of Action follows GCL’s direction, then I’m out. But if not me, someone else during day phase could be immune.
Regardless, GCL’s course is no guarantee, even if he is Nemesis.
