I’m going to take back lynching PR. Holding my vote for a little while longer. Too many mind games going on.

In my defense it was just to get people talking. Noone was doing anything for a full day so I posted up something ludicrous just to get people to say something.
I don’t think we should vote for Lothar at the moment, not enough evidence on him. Sure he’s quiet, but that doesn’t mean he is Mafia.
I think Supreme JD is Mafia. Sure it’s a longshot but he has been pretty quiet. He found out about Miss Darkness actually being a dude on here. You would think he would be trying to find out who the Mafia members are since he has previous sleuthing background.

You have a good point, but I’ve just got a lot of family shit going on so I haven’t been posting much on SRK at all recently. I have only made 23 posts since I’ve been back from Evo (7/12), and that was 11 days ago. My average posts per day is about 8, so that just goes to show that I’ve really been busy.
I’ll have a crack at it. Here’s the list of number of posts in this thread as of now by the people who are still alive (I have subtracted any posts made before the official start of the game, since they don’t mean shit):

Going by that logic, Lothar is the prime suspect. Here’s his only post after the start of the game:
We all know that Lothar posts “imo.” in all of his posts, so his only post in this game was one word. He’s definitely the quietest player on here. He’s also a lawyer IRL IIRC, so I’d say he’s pretty smart. Would definitely be a prime choice to be a Mafia member.

Well aint this a bitch. I was coming to post and give my thoughts but Im out. Pretty good move, taking me out early. I have my doubts and suspicions, but please dont take them as absolute. I suspect Puff and Sogeking. The main reason why I say Sogeking, is because I was taken out. (No offense, Sofa!) Guys, please think long and hard about your actions. You really dont want to shoot yourself in the foot. Ive seen it happen and its not pretty.
I’m gonna go with the crowd here and choose Lother. Although Streak made a very interesting point about PuFF, I can’t justify lynching from one action that early in the game. I am keeping my eye on him though.
I was camping for the last 5 days, so that explains my absence in the last week. It was definitely interesting coming back to see everyone voting for me, but at least I can get out of this shitty game without having to pay attention anymore.

Ok, that was one crazy night. If I read it all correctly then I am still alive…thank you, medic…
Alright we need to get down to business. I still think we should think about our decisions a little more but since Lothar himself is throwing in the towel, which sucks for the game in general, we just lynch him since he has no desire to participate. AFTER THAT, we must come together as a town…voting for Lothar.
If I could be selfish…will the medic humor me with a follow-up visit? 
This next round will be very important and I want to be able to speak, or at least be alive…
Are we meant to be able to know what the medics abities ithin the game are? Likewise the undercover cop? I know we can’t be told who they are, but how about just their powers? It seems anyone who has played this before knows how the roles work anyway, right?
I’m wondering why you would get targeted by the mafia.
I also have some questions about this. So far we know about the:
- Undercover Cop
- Medic
- Silencer
What does the Undercover Cop do? I’m assuming he’s one of us civilians on the Mafia. But what does he have to PM SWBeta? And does the Medic just get to pick one guy to protect? It seems that he was able to unsilence someone, but what happens when he protects someone who is about to get killed? Also, can the Silencer silence anyone? Like including Mafia members? Or just civilians? Can he silence himself? If a person with a power is killed, will we know?
I wonder if there are any other powers out there, and if so, how many people have them. I may have to look into this on other forums, but I don’t think each game is played with the same rules.

I am not sure if I am allowed to be doing this, but I have been reading a couple of the Mafia Game threads that Sogeking linked to on Tekken Zaibatsu. Turns out the Undercover Cop is one of us and he can “investigate” two players. I don’t know what that means, probably gets info from SWBeta?
Also, on the third game that they played, they came to the conclusion that the people who would participate most in the game would be targets for lynching, while the Mafia would barely post and go by without any Mafia casualties. Seems like we were right about taking out the least active members.
Still no word on the Medic and Silencer powers, though.

I will only explain the Undercover Cop and Medic roles, because those roles have been known since the game began. The Silencer role is meant to be a mysterious role, so it will not be explained. After this game has ended, I’ll explain it.
The Undercover Cop is able to ask the game narrator, on the FIRST night of the game, of two players’ allegiances. Every night afterward, the Undercover Cop can ask the narrator of one players’ allegiance. The narrator then tells the UC what the players’ allegiances are. So the UC knows whether some players are truly mafia or civilian.
The Medic is able to request that a player be protected every night. The medic cannot protect the same person two nights in a row. If the mafia decide to kill the same person that the Medic has requested to protect/save, the player is saved. Generally, the Medic can only protect players from mafia hits, but in this game, I have given the Medic the power to ‘unsilence’ players that have been silenced.
By the way, kudos on bringing out some excellent points of discussion, peeps. This is when the game gets interesting. I was gonna leave the daytime phase open for longer, so that you could discuss some more, but because the player with the most votes forfeited his place in the game, I have to end the daytime phase, which will happen in the next post.
EDIT: Oh, and when someone with a secret role gets killed, their role will be revealed. There are some roles that will not be revealed until the game is over.
EDIT 2: If anyone wants links to the other Mafia games that Sogeking, myself, and Ryusuke have played on Tekken Zaibatsu, shoot me a PM or just let me know here in the thread and I’ll link you. It might be that extra kick some of you might need to think further outside the box.
Nah, def not a typo. What I meant was “One of us (civilians) on the Mafia.” The guy I quoted also pointed that out, bolding the same part and saying “What a dumbass” but he has deleted his post since then.
I thought I made what I was trying to say clear in the following post, but I should just edit it to avoid confusion.
