I’ve been getting a similar hunch. I think I would have voted with you but it seems it’s a bit late now, that round went by so fast. It is a little strange how quiet some people have been, completly inactive in fact.
When will the night time end?
DAY 2: DAYTIME
*The night was over, and the sun had just began to rise.
wepeel was sitting at home reading a newspaper when he heard a noise in his bathroom. He stood up to investigate, and as soon as he turned around, a hand holding a handkerchief reached around from behind him and covered his nose and mouth.
“Chloroform,” wepeel thought. “They got me.”
wepeel’s was carried to the bedroom, where he was tied and bound to his bed. His mouth was gagged and he was blindfolded. On the way out, his assailant bumped into a lamp and it fell down with a loud smash. This was the last thing wepeel heard before he fully faded into darkness.*
wepeel IS SILENCED AND CANNOT TAKE PART IN ANY DISCUSSION UNTIL THE NEXT DAYTIME CYCLE.
*The loud smash was heard by a passerby. The passerby came to wepeel’s door, and knocked a few times. After a few seconds of no response, the passerby tried to open the door anyway. It was unlocked. The passerby silently walked throughout the house, visiting every room to make sure that everything was alright. The passerby finally got to the bedroom and saw wepeel.
In a few minutes, wepeel woke up. He was not bound to his bed anymore and the mess from the broken lamp had been cleaned up. He didn’t dwell too much on who had saved him. Brushing himself off, he stood up and got ready to go to the Town Hall to report what had happened to him.*
wepeel HAS BEEN SAVED BY THE MEDIC AND CAN CONTINUE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS DAYTIME CYCLE.
*Around the same time, somewhere else, Ryusuke was taking an early morning stroll. It was very foggy in the morning, and he couldn’t see much of anything, except a strange, tall silhouette in the distance. He got close enough to make out what the silhouette was, and the casual look on his face turned to horror.
It was a makeshift crucifix, with RoninChaos’ body hanging from it. A sign was hanging from his head, which said ‘Staying out of the conflict does not mean you are safe.’
Ryusuke turned around and started running toward the Town Hall. He stepped onto a pile of leaves, which gave way. He fell into what was a man-made pit fall. He could hear a truck backing up. He screamed for someone to help him, and he was answered… by gallons of hot, scalding cement being poured onto him from the back of the truck. He was covered in seconds.*

At the town hall meeting, the townsfolk had noticed that the amount of people in attendance had shrunk. After hearing wepeel’s story, the worst was assumed of the other missing folk, and once again, there was a call to vote for a lynch.

Civilians can post in the thread during the nighttime phase, but cannot post about who they suspect or who to lynch until daytime. So basically, you can post about what has already happened objectively without making accusatory remarks or hints.
Let RoninChaos’ elimination from the game be a warning to players who have not participated after the very first voting cycle. You can choose how often you want to play this game, but asking to be in the game and not participating ever again or to post once and never again is unacceptable.
Well, that kind of sucks…

We gotta get a mafia member this time around. I think one of the other reasons some people stay quiet is because they’re afraid of being retaliated on, speak up guys.

I’m going with papa Rhino. Absolutely stinks of maffia. Even his usernames has ‘we comin for you’ written underneath. Plus, he was at the heart of the symbolic lynching.

a couple of things i want to point out:

[] the mafia just tried to kill wepeel. earlier in the game, PuFF wanted to lynch wepeel. even though his reason was pretty stupid, it might be worth remembering his actions in the future.
[] Ryusuke is one of the people on SRK who has played the game on another forum, and he was the last civilian to be killed. we might need to look into the links posted earlier in the thread.
[*] the game started with 21 participants, and 4 civilians have been killed. there are more civilians than there are mafia members, correct? either way, we’re running out of time (or chances).

*PapaRhino really wanted to get Symbolic lynched in the beginning of the game. he made two separate posts (1, 2) attacking Symbolic, and in the end, Symbolic was a civilian.
this time around, PR is the first one to point fingers and doesn’t state a reason why he wants kaz lynched. right after kaz defends himself and suggests to lynch someone else, PR immediately changes his decision. pretty shady, if you ask me.*
is wepeel allowed to post during this daytime? it says he was silenced, but then it later says he’s allowed to participate in this session. it might be pretty clear for some people, but it could be a little confusing for others. :wonder:
How do you know? Did they say? I thought he was dead due to inactivity (this works for civs and maffia) If I’m wrong I apologise… it wasn’t really clear in the text… or was it because he was killed at night that we know he was civillian?

Streak, I see where you’re coming from but why would a mafia member be so adamant about having one of the civilians lynched from the start? Wouldn’t it make more sense for them to hide in the background and leave us to off one another while we’re at each others necks? I have no reason to think that a member of the mafia would be posting much until the numbers reflect we have an advantage or we’re close to obtaining one. Thus it’d make sense for certain members to start pointing the finger. I still say go for who we haven’t seen around here…
How can we assume because anyone at this point who’s posted in the thread based on their actions is a part of the mafia?

Some very good points. Before checking this thread Puff was still on my mind since wasn’t he the one who just wanted to go alphabetical order from bottom to top? That’s one more reason. Though at the same time I can see people’s points on Lothar being quiet for now still.
And weepel can participate now, he was saved from mafia.
