Do mafia know each other’s roles or only their own?
Sent + Akuma shenanigans seem pretty strong, odds are giving mafia two town kills every two days unless Sent activates on Akuma
if you’re adding SAX to this game, then we pretty much already know he’s not a specialrole (and odds are, town) so if you’re going to add him and change roles it’s probably for the best to reshuffle them.

Actually, does Akuma’s “3 lowest post counts” include dead players? If so, at least that limits it to 3.
But Akuma seems a bit lame because it basically forces everybody to rush for postspam. As long as the bottom one isn’t Mafia, he can just target lowestpostcount player and scum get free kills.
Also, sent is funny because having somebody posting only once means that he’s cleared the player as town because only posting once is horrible and nobody should ever do that even in a normal game of Mafia.
Once Sent dies he uses his lvl 3, that’s it. Akuma will get his kill and that will be it. Not sure what you mean by two town kills a day.

As for reshuffling the roles, I’ve been thinking about it. How does everyone feel shout reshuffling after the ‘balance patch’?

Reshuffling is fine, some of them are going to be different roles anyway, so we might as well. Is post count for Akuma going to be in the thread period or from the start of the game on? Maxing post count before the game starts seems pretty silly.
I wouldn’t mind. I mean we’re doing this before the game starts anyways.
Should a new thread be made when we actually start so Akuma’s post count nonsense isn’t set off by rule discussion?

Akuma killing lowest post count is to promote discussion and more posting. True, this also encourages more spam, but I will regulate post content if it gets out of hand. A little bit of off topic posting is okay and even useful sometimes, as long as it isn’t full blown retard spam.
With Sentinel’s ability, the target can still post. It’s just that the target cannot contribute to the game in his/her posts during that cycle. This is also why a little bit of off topic posting is okay.

I think I’ll post a new thread and reshuffle. The question now is, should I make the new thread before or after the SRK downtime we are apparently going to be having?
If anyone has concerns or questions, ask them before I make the new thread, so we don’t clutter that one.

I understand the motive behind Akuma’s power (and somehow Sent does the opposite?) is to get more posts (presumeably because it has been low), but aren’t people who don’t post often already pretty suspicious and will be pressured to start with? Plus, you already have rules to take care of such situations.
You could use this thread for rulesdiscussion and the next thread for the game. And if you’re going to make a new thread for the game and the game is only going to start after the downtime, then yeah it’s probably better to wait 'till after downtime.
