Alright, puss smacks, let’s try this again. No BS or funny shenanigans this time. OP quoted from the first game:

? Inactivity will get you kicked/eliminated from the game. Do not bother signing up if you are not going to participate. I will enforce this hardcore.

? There are secret roles in this game. When I let people know through PMs if they have a secret role.

? You may not post anything I have PM’d you in this thread. That is cheating and if it’s done, you automatically commit suicide, eliminating you from the game.

? You may not reveal your secret role if you have one. First of all, that’s stupid because you’re putting a big target on your ass for people to lynch/kill you. Secondly, it may, and probably will, break the game. You may hint that you have a secret role, but you can’t flat out say that you are so and so.

? MAKE SURE YOUR PM INBOX IS AS FREE OF STUFF AS YOU CAN MAKE IT. Especially mafia members. You’ll be communicating a lot through PM to decide who to kill in the night cycle. I will obviously be sending PMs to people about their sides and/or roles, so you need your inbox free.

? Civilians, you have 72 HOURS to get all votes in after the narrator has declared day time. If the required amount of votes are not met, a NO LYNCH situation is deemed, and the game advances to the night time. The amount of hours will not be extended for ANY reason, except for when two lynch votes are required, in which case, civilians will be granted an extra 24 hours (Making the total time 96 hours) to get their votes in. The FULL amount of time given in the round will pass before the Narrator continues the game, even if lynch vote quota has been reached before the time limit.

? Mafia members, you also have 72 hours to get your kill vote in. However, if you get your vote in before the given time limit has been reached, the Narrator will continue the game.

I’m in. I actually played this game a few times a couple months ago in real life. There’s no nurse or sheriff in this one?

EDIT: Nvm. That’s what you meant by secret roles.

There will be the Medic (nurse) and Undercover Cop (sheriff) roles in this. Those are standard for every game.

@SWbeta : by any chance do you have the story/plot of this mafia game?

also you should tell people that upon casting their votes, they should ** bold** the person’s name whom they’re lynching for. it really makes it easy for the gamemaster and everyone else to see how votes are swinging for.

I usually make up the story as the game goes along. With this kind of game, you can’t have an overall storyline planned out because people alive/dead change all the time. In terms of theme/setting, I usually think about it right when the game’s about to start.

Good idea with the bolding. I’ll ask peeps to do this when it’s voting time.
