No one was saying that women (or men) have to have a hobby. People were just agreeing that, generally, if you don’t have a hobby yet you’re constantly complaining that you can’t attract anyone, then you’re probably focusing on the wrong issue. My comments in general have been more about “society brainwashes people into wanting relationships to the exclusion of actually bettering themselves” rather than “god, women suck. Why can’t more of them take up sniping?”
Given that I both acknowledged that cooking arguably counts as a hobby and that “hobbies” are prioritized differently across genders, it’s not like I really care about the matter on that end, especially since I’m not looking myself. If you’re fine being with a woman whose only “interesting” non-physical aspect out of bed is that she cooks well, then good for you. It doesn’t mean she’s automatically a horrible person or anything if that’s all she does or all she wants to do, especially since a lot of women/people without hobbies don’t even want to do that.
