Well, how 'bout that… Gamefaqs finally added an “edit” feature! It’s funny that this upgrade took that long to be added. They FINALLY got out of the internet Stone Age.
*Some developer out there still needs to make a stylish action game that has custom character mode. It’s absurd to me that no one has thought of adding that feature to the genre…either that or they have thought of it, but were too goddamn lazy to bother implementing it. This would make it into an immediate contender for “Best Game of All Time” for me. Why has this not been made yet? Sheeeit, I may just get into programming just to make the damn thing myself, since no one in the industry will ever do it.

Just got done watching the Doctor Who episode “Fires of Pompeii”. Now I understand why he was so upset about it in “Waters of Mars”, especially since the situation in both those episodes were just two incredibly horrible choices (like most of life).

Indeed. It’s pretty rare for something that’s primarily a flashback episode to be engaging, even (or perhaps especially) if they’re necessary flashbacks; Yoki’s flashback, for example, was fucking hilarious even though we could have done without it–lol at him trying to rob the Armstrongs. Still pretty shocking to learn that Von Hoenheim is what he is, especially because of Father and not the other way around.
Speaking of Armstrong, I have to admit I laughed pretty hard at Olivia’s confrontation with the Fuhrer. Even if it was the only thing she probably could have done to save her ass, seeing her basically go “Yeah, I killed Raven. He was incompetent. What of it?” to fucking Wrath of all people was quite amusing.
(I forget who was reading the manga of Kekkaishi–Geohound?–but whoever it was, you’ll probably want to look away.)
On the Kekkaishi front, it continues to be quite compelling, surprisingly. I really need to read the manga.
Million, are you also getting a demonic Mr. Sinister vibe from that old Hesuke Matsudo guy that just showed up again? He seems…even more shady than I had initially suspected, especially given Shion’s observations about Ms. Kagami being “different” from ayakashi.
Speaking of Shion, it’s weird, since I usually hate spiders, but I’m really hoping she lives through this. I rather like characters who aren’t weaklings but know when to just leave anyway and her covering her own ass honestly in such a bored way is entertaining. I suppose it helps she’s one of the few enemy characters who0 we have actually insight into their thought process and at least, unlike Sak(k)on after Masamori went all HNK on him, she still has a head.
