I pretty much figured that Inafune had kinda shallow interpretations of “American video game seriousness” given all that “blood spray” and “THE UNDEAD”. I suppose it doesn’t help that American video game “seriousness” is kinda shallow in and of itself.

I was just rolling my eyes in at least slightly judgmental incredulity. It confounds me even more how a mere thin barrier of plastic could so greatly effect your “enjoyment” of pornography when there’s quite a few other things wrong with even the most vanilla of pornography. It’s even more confusing since you then admit you don’t like seeing fluids everywhere…

I have to echo what RockBogart said about there being nothing to see in Oakland. Downtown sucks save maybe the restored Fox Theater, which I’ve never been to. Jack London Square was gutted and still has nothing “unique” to ultimately draw you there unless you want desperately to go to Yoshi’s (of which I’m think there’s at least one in San Francisco as well). West Oakland is otherwise barren and generally more dangerous than the rest of the city barring East Oakland, which is ridiculously dangerous. Unless you like seeing dead black people or getting shot or stabbed or mugged or raped, stay the hell away from any streets that start with “E” and International Blvd. in general.
Unless you’re coming to Oakland to walk around the lake or see a movie or, technically, go to Chabot, there’s really nothing to do here. Piedmont’s close by and a better city to spend your time if you don’t want to go into San Francisco.
Speaking of which, I feel that San Francisco is vastly overrated, but at least there’s bunch of stuff to do there. Just stay the fuck away from Mission after 16th Street at the most and the hell away from Hunter’s Point (in general).
