Vs. discussion— I’d still love to see a Capcom-produced fighting game with various mythological beings…angels vs. skinwalkers, wendigo, witches, werewolves, vampires, trolls, leprechauns, some greek and roman gods, norse gods and “jotunn” or however that’s spelled (*this is what inspired my PSN name ZoomSurtr–> Surtr - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ), warlocks, djinn, demons, nephilim, seraphim and cherubim, Vishnu, Krishna, Gilgamesh, the list goes on and on. This material is SO wide open and ready as source material.
A regular action game in the style of the DMC or Bayonetta franchises would also be good enough for me…and as always, I’d throw in a create-a-character option where the player creates a new legendary mythic creature. This could instantly be my favorite game of all time.

Seriously spent like 3 hours trying to go from 4th lord to 3rd lord in Marvel 3. They wouldn’t even get give me chance to rank up. On the bright side at least capcom fix the match finding, I’m no lower getting paired up against anything lower then my rank. Everyone I played that had a higher rank had at least 600 + matches. I’m sitting here at like 400. Do I seriously need to play another 200 just for 1 fucking star?
System even paired me up with a few Japanese, Spaniards, and Australian, and IT DID NOT LAG (well super noticeable that is).

P.S Getting hit with tron sucks. Her combos are like 8 hours long. Phoenix also sucks balls. Had like 5 matches where I snapped her in and then couldn’t finish the job, ended up getting reverse OCV by the darkie.

Yeah, I had a 22 win streak just now with my temporary re-acquiring of Marvel. Got scrubbed out after that, around 2-3 losses then I fought a Japanese guy running Ryu/Akuma/Sent vs my Ryu/Akuma/Deadpool. We were both on our last characters(Ryu) and were both on our last pixel of health. I won that shit with a timeout and slightly more red health, fucking nuts. When it showed a japanese flag of the guy I just fought, I shit my pants at how smooth the match was. I ping like 200+ with Japanese guys on GGPO, every game is unplayable on there, but somehow MvC3 is playable VS Japan and my long-ass distance to them. WTF!? Decent netcode Capcom, I seriously can’t hate. Phoenix…I had a close match against one earlier. I popped X-factor and did a super, it chipped the bitch all the way to 1 pixel of health. I lol’d and chucked a Hadoken after for the win.

Finally finished that Demon’s Souls walk-through as well something else I was reading. I was ridiculously close to the end of both, which makes me feel like even more of an idiot than I’ve been feeling like lately.

Yeah, I really wish that games would put how many wins (and losses) you need to go between ranks instead of vague guess that you have to make. You’d think it would be easy to put it somewhere. Like even in the manual or something. Then again, I’ve only played like 34 games.

I got owned by like the only person using Tron that I’ve seen online thus far and, yeah, I’m pretty sure her corner combos easily go on for 10 in-game seconds, which is a freaking eternity.
I haven’t met any competent Phoenixes on random yet. I piped the shit out of one with Haggar when I was playing yesterday last night after Merlin. Then again, my Haggar was generally getting away with stupid things between reverse OCVing an entire team only to barely beat its Akuma–god, I hate that character–with a pixel of health left on a headbutt of all things. That and murdering two characters (half health Ryu and a full assist Dormammu) as the last character off of whiff c. Hard (to get in) into Hard Violent Axe, punch Super, XFC mid-way, Lariat, punch Super for the win. Hilariously stupid, that.

yeah it takes seemingly forever to rank up in marvel. 6th to 5th took a really long time even while winning like 13/15 at a time. Those kids who are 1st and higher must have a shitload of time on their hands. /slightly jealous
