SRK Lounge ver 5 "Put on your sunday's best! Photon Cannon!"

Todays episode of “that show” was fucking fantastic. I actually laughed out loud.

how did we let soviet get away with not posting a picture of his burnt down house? this is bullshit. i wanted to see.

also i puked my guts out last night after the wedding. holla

re: doctors - the middle class gets fucked by taxes. if you’re poor you don’t have to pay shit, if you’re wealthy you have lawyers who help you avoid paying shit. the middle class (which includes most doctors believe it or not) gets fucked. a doctor has to pay probably 40% of their income to the fucking government. this is ridiculous. there’s absolutely no excuse for a government needing to take 40% of anyone’s income. that’s outrageous.

who the fuck supports higher taxes? do you guys really think the same government that has been wasting money killing brown people and racking up mad deficits deserves more!? what the fuck is wrong with you idiots!

my friend is in his residency to be a surgeon. once he gets it, he’s looking to clear about 80k a year. that’s funny AND sad.

Amazon.com: Jockey High Impact Zipper Front Bra: Clothing - NSFW I guess

Mouse over to the black preview.

EDIT: Holy shit Amazon caught on fast, for the black preview they had a black chick with the white one on.

Well, I finally got my back-pay from the social security. It took a while and it was a pain in the ass but its done. Those freakin’ social security people are so…unhelpful and just plain mean. I think they are trained to make things as difficult as possible for everyone. But im glad I don’t have to deal with them anymore.

So I get to pay off my debts - which isn’t large - put some money away, and have a little fun.

i did post pics. They’re many pages back in the old thread.

We need a best lounge thread of 11 award. #4 has my vote

(Oh, okay. Most of the posts are one-liners. No wonder this thread has blown through 40+ posts already in just the past 3 hours.)

Yawn. Ugh. I think I actually made my sleeping schedule worse. Or maybe it was just the severe bout of “oh right, I’m fucked” realization I got hit with (again) yesterday.

Really annoying not being able to get in contact with people when I do try. Why do I even bother having a fucking phone again?

Weird seeing you with a Kitana avatar…

Yeah, Makoto’s entire outfit is stupid. I can understand needing to move around, but, geez, there’s no excuse for such a short skirt. Just wear fucking pants or something. It’s a sad day when a top that’s essentially just a bra is more clothing than a particular skirt.

At least with what little I’ve seen of Mu, her (blatant) fan-service makes “sense” in that she’s brainwashed into something she normally wouldn’t wear, so you could take it as Terumi being a perverted asshole. (It’s also rather…interesting to see a character with small TnA get to show some skin.)

I’ll read this later.

Have to love loopholes.

I don’t recall you posting those either and I usually read every post.

Meh. I’ve been meaning to go back and read through some shit…eventually anyway. (And I’m back to cursing too much again, not that I ever really stopped.)

Some of your details are a little off (I don’t think many CEO’s make salaries of $1) but I agree with your main point-rich people dodge taxes like whoah. One example of that which always kind of made me chuckle( and mad at the same time) is how donations to religious organizations are tax deductible. I*'ll concede that 99% of the time it’s for the common good* but the abuses of the system frustrate me so much.

Like the church I went to as a kid built a state of the art basketball court awhile back. I always wondered why nobody was ever allowed to use it for basketball or anything at all;it just seemed strange. Then, I remember one day driving by the church late and night and seeing the pastor and a few of the older congregation members coming out of the gym all sweaty in gym clothes from some late night hooping. lol Like… these old dudes got their own personal court to hoop on whenever they want, and they get huge tax breaks for it, WTF? I like the general concept of taxes, and religious organizations, but the system gets abused so much. That’s one of the reasons I don’t like raising taxes, people will just find ways to avoid paying them.

Sure the government is corrupt and incompetent. But the problem is the rich aren’t paying any taxes, and they’re getting even more tax breaks. Republicans AND democrats are bending over backwards for corporations and the rich elite in America, while fucking the middle class in the ass. And the corporations aren’t going to create jobs when they get those tax breaks. Why the hell would they when they can keep outsourcing? And they’re not “passing on the savings” to consumers either, considering that the cost of living has been steadily increasing. Its now at a point where it is higher than the cost of living during the BOOM. Yeah, that’s right, back when the stock market was booming, real estate was in a bubble, and credit flowed freely, things were cheaper than they are now. Hello stagflation. And this affects 98% of Americans. The top 2% are doing just fine and are laughing their way to the bank. This does not seem fair at all to me. Plutocracy is worse than socialism. I think the hippy liberals call it neo-feudalism. It actually describes the current situation fairly accurately.

Bottom line, fuck corporations, and fuck the rich elite who are screwing over America. Tax the hell out of them and close the loopholes. Any politician who wants to cry collectivization or socialism should get voted out of office. At the same time, we need to get rid of the ponzi scheme that is social security, which accounts for more of our spending than the military apparently. Ludicrous. There bam, budget balanced.

i’m with you on getting rid of tax dodges. The super rich don’t need to be THAT rich. You’re retarded when people are making a billion dollars a year and you consider them equal to you or me.

But good luck with Social security. I agree it needs a massive overhaul, or even removal. But we’re still waiting on the fucking baby boomers to die out. And they’re still fuckign living, and going senile. Either way, they would never allow that shit.

America needs a crazy ass dictator to take over for a couple years, then a revolution. That’s like the only way I can see you guys fixing yourselves and the corrupt two party system you stand behind

If it were only just tax evasion. No, they take taxes from the middle class and actually subsidize their own interests. Corporate Welfare…it is what it is. The laws are set up so that nobody can actually compete with established business. The media then makes sure the general public not only accepts the state of affairs, but endorses it or is ignorant of what is truly happening and blames something else.

You know all this backlash against government employees and the pensions? You people would laugh if you saw what waste there is in the actual government budgets. That is why they will never show you where that money goes. Most of it goes to corporate contacts and subsidies, frequently in very favorable contracts that are 5x market value.

To help the general public is socialism and bad. But to take money from the general public and hand it to the top 1% of the nation? That’s considered noble and American now.

Jefferson would be rolling over in his grave, but the rich elite probably sold his corpse already.

Yeah I just hate how the general uneducated poor broke ass public screams socialism, but loves giving away all their money to the top 1% elite in america. Something is very wrong when America is one of the wealthiest nations in the world yet we have horrible health care, lag behind the other countries in terms of education, and have ridiculous high crime rates, drug addiction problems, morbid obesity, and a giant gap between rich and poor. I’m sure I missed a few other problems.

A low supply of Alaskan Bitches.

I don’t know why you guys rage against the rich when it’s really the politicians that are causing America’s problem. The super elite may be greedy assholes, but it’s the politicians who write the laws that allow them to get away with it (if not created the opportunity).

Also, the belief that the rich hire accountants to find loopholes is a myth. The tax code is the same for rich and poor alike. Anyone can cheat at it. I think people just get hung up on the percentages and ignore the actual dollars that are paid in taxes by the higher brackets.

I bet this guy went to college and is “educated.” This is what you get when you “educate” people.

To make ya feel old— Christina Vidal, a former Nickelodeon sexpot (“Taina”) is apparently 29 right now. I’m watching “See No Evil” at the moment on Syfy, and I had no idea she was in this movie. Yes, I’ve beat off to Ms. Vidal before. (Oh hell yeah she’s still looking quite tasty in this movie. I want to sniff her pubes. Haha, awesome scene where “Kane” threw his mom onto a wall with a spike. This movie has some good kill scenes.)

*I’ve also seen shorter skirts than what was posted…for a little while in college, I remember it was in style for girls to wear skirts and “skorts” that were so short…the ass was CONSTANTLY exposed. You didn’t even have to bend down or pretend to drop something to see up it. Those were good times. You’d be surprised how many broads were walking around on campus like that…actually headed to a class with something like that on. The skirt she had one was indeed LEGEND status though…those are some of the best kind…pleated like a schoolgirl uniform, and way too short. Good looking women should be required by law to wear that on a regular basis…even if it’s cold outside.

*The amount of smokin hot, damn near NAKED hot ass you see in Best Buy on the average warm to hot day is just absurd. I went in for just 3 minutes or so(since it’s around 70 something today, so I KNEW there was hotness walking around all over the city.) and saw several highly fuckable specimens…unfortunately none of them had on “appropriate” attire though…just pants. Damn that store is such a prime spot…from the broads working there to the customers…it’s insanely hot ass there ALL THE TIME. Y’know, actually that just sums up this city anyway. Nashville has got to be in the upper echelon when it comes to gorgeous women in this country.

…but on the opposite end of the spectrum…ya got Memphis, TN. What a joke. That bullshit ass city is like Roll/Servbot tier when it comes to women, seriously. The difference between what you see there and what you see in Nashville is like night and day. heh heh, I just love putting Memphis down, really. The TnA category is always an easy point of critique. It’s like…if Nashville is the Salma Hayek/Halle Berry/Tyra/Nina Dobrev … Memphis is clearly Whoopi Goldberg status.

New bikini pictures of Stephanie Seymour = OUTSTANDING. Just about any site that features paparazzi shots of hot celebs should have them posted. I haven’t even seen a picture in this series that isn’t worth saving to my special collection so far… Steph has gained a few pounds in all the right places…yes yessss

Who do you think hires the lobbyists to write those laws? Who do you think controls the media to get the masses to be completely ignorant of these laws or better yet completely okay with them?

And as for rich people not hiring accountants, that’s just ridiculous. Pretty much every rich person espouses the importance of a good accountant. Its not a myth. Why do you think something such as the alternative minimum tax was created? Because rich people were finding ways to not pay their taxes, so the government modified the rules to see if they could get some of that money (they failed, because the rich people can hire very good accountants). Rich people understand the value of a good accountant with a thorough understanding of tax law. A poor person is only going to have one source of revenue, his job flipping burgers. So an accountant would be useless in that situation. A rich person has multiple sources of income, from real estate, stocks, bonds, businesses, and so on, and a good accountant can come up with a good strategy to minimize taxes on those.

LOL. I actually took an amazing course in college. It was a tax class for non accountants. It went over topics such as incorporating as an LLC vs an Scorp, strategies for reducing realized income, strategies for avoiding the alternative minimum tax, and a whole bunch of useful stuff. Of course back then I wasn’t making any money so sadly I don’t remember much of it. Luckily I still have my notes and textbook. And it was definitely a useful course. So again, there is some good to school, but you just have to take the right classes and avoid paying too much.

Picked up Marvel. I haven’t tried it yet, though. Made sure my SFAC is fully operational though .

And who do you think ultimately votes yes or on on the law? I’m not saying the rich are innocent, just that you guys are ignoring a guilty party here. I expect corporations and the rich to do whatever is in their best interest. But politicians are the ones who run on promises of looking out for the people, so they’re even worse imo.

And blaming the media for ignorance of the laws is like blaming video games for violence. I can’t even take that seriously. People are ignorant because they’d rather not spend their free time educating themselves. And even if they did, it’s the politicians and lawyers who make the laws complicated. If you were a business, you’d want a flat tax based on cash flow, not the mess we currently have. Politicians are only going to let lobbyist get away with so much. They know it’s the rich and corps that fund their pensions.

Sorry, I meant to deny that there are loopholes for the rich, not that they didn’t hire accountants. In fact, all the loopholes I’ve head about (now fixed) were in favor of the little guy. I’m a CPA so I know all about the value of a good accountant and the AMT. The tax code really doesn’t favor the rich as much as people think.

I’d say the only argument one could make is that the rich have more money to bribe people to lie and launder for them. But that’s an issue of ethics, not tax.
