i was working in a computer lab at college and my boss lady walked in and was like “we’re going to war.” she rolled in a TV and everybody started watching. “schools cancelled for now. you can all go home.” so i left. when i was driving home i saw that gas prices rose to 5 and 6 dollars- except for one station by my house that was run by Arabs. that’s why to this day i only get gas from them or Wal-Mart.

Also, a random ‘90s sexpot just came to mind recently… I wonder what ol’ Angel Boris is up to these days? She was naked in Playboy at some point, both in print and video if I recall…she later appeared on General Hospital in the late 90s, and I think a Lifetime movie or 2, and that was the last I saw of her. I think that, after remembering 2001, the real shocking and appalling thing that I realized today is that Capcom vs SNK 2 is 10+ years old. Where did all the time go? I’m still a couple years away from 30 and now I feel so old. :xeye:
I knew we would go to war as soon as 9/11 happened. I knew it was going to be a really long war too. All it has done now though, is made me utterly bitter about the government and the military; especially that bullshit “fight for our freedom” thing they have going for them. If you were fighting for me my freedom, the army would’ve bombed a couple of telecoms for putting in bandwidth quotas and would have held the congress hostage so they would repeal the patriot act.
I heard some guy had seriously considered it but was never heard from again.
I tried to explain to a friend of how fucked up it was that all the asian characters in Avatar: The Last Airbender were turned white for no good reason in the movie. He didn’t get it and thought I was being racists. Yes he is white. Man, I’m still hella mad at the black Nick Fury.
NIck Fury > Black Fury. They need to stop changing a character’s background for no reason. Marvel needs to step that shit up and just make new characters that are other ethnicity. You know what, I want a black Ice Man. That way, whenever he powers up, he’ll be in full white face.
