Sigh*
Money.
"That’s pretty bogus for you to tell you friend that the trip X bachelor party is killing your wallet and for him to go quiet about it. If I had been that man I would had told you " I’ll find us the space and you bring street fighter and 2 sticks bud. You and Street Fighter is all the party I need. " … that actually made me a little teary. "

Asking for money. I’m a sales man right now and closing was the hardest. I think the best advice ever given to me in terms of close was " you already spend 3 minutes talking to them, just close. That way it’s not a waste of your time. " I think taking a look at the sales cycle is key.
Sales Cycle:
-
Greetings.
-
Discovery Question. ( Do you fly a lot? )
-
Presentations.
3.1 Feature to Benefit.
Confirmation Statement ( That’s great right! )
3.2 Feature to Benefit.
Confirmation Statement ( Cowabunga right! )
3.3Confirmations statement.
- Close. ( I don’t want you to miss out on this great opportunity. )
4.1 Manage customer concern by bridging concern with previously unmentioned and relevant feature to benefit.
4.2 Close.
( All I need is your driver’s license. I got all your info here so let me do all the work for you sir. )
But at the end of the day, the reason why I’ll never be great at sales is because I don’t sell people on things they don’t understand or isn’t right for their situation.
I’m turning 30 this year. If I can make this the year where I can say "I’m partly in the way to not doing things for money anymore. " I’ll be happy. This is going to sound really hippy but
There is subjective reality. ( You and me )
There is objective reality. ( What we call the world. )
People as a whole make our objective reality. Meaning if airport would not be there were it not for the people that made it so, the minute people die, so does our collective reality created by will alone.
Therefore, although my reality is subjective ( It goes when I die. ) the value of things is set by the objective reality, all of us. Meaning that it was the whole that set my standards for value.
Now the personal question. What it’s truly valuable to me? Do my action reflect this?
Maybe what other consider valuable isn’t really valuable… so then… what is?
My answer will be different than yours because of subjectivity but I’ll say mine… the Buddha’s Dharma is valuable.
Chaos is inherent in all compounded things strive on with diligence. - buddha
