I dunno, I enjoyed all three of them, mostly cause I really like all the “cosmic” characters, especially Silver Surfer and Thanos. It’s too bad Thanos barely did anything in The Thanos Imperative, but it is what it is. Guardians of the Galaxy were kind of goofy (like Rocket Racoon? really?) but it grew on me after a while. I downloaded Annihilators as well, so I’m hoping they do something interesting with those characters.
I really like surfer and thanos too, which is why I hated Thanos Imperative.

And Thanos DID kinda fuck over Mar-Vell quite nicely, and earn himself AN ENTIRE UNIVERSE. And explode Drax. AND GET EXPLODED. Still, my one sadness over that series, was that Nova is obviously coming back due to not actually being killed. Oh and the fact they kept advertising that they were killing off a cosmic being, and it just ended up being Aegis who was pretty much created just a little while before, for Annihilation Wave, and her death SUCKED.

Honestly guys, the pastor isn’t forcing it down our throats. What was said was what she felt, and she left the ball in our court to decide. And honestly, we weighed it out. We can’t see any reason not to at this point, as far out of alignment with our plans as it may be. My goal was to finish my last year of school, come back to Korea, get an English teaching position, then we get married. And my fiance was cool with this too.
I have a steady job back home. My family and friends missing out is less of a problem, as I’ve already talked to my pastor at home, and he’s more than willing to officiate a ceremony Stateside for us. Any of our other concerns were still going to be concerns next year. Moreover, her church has already assumed responsibility for planning and arranging everything for the wedding. Her family doesn’t make mad bank, so this is a massive burden off their shoulders, that if we walked away from this, that door would be shut, and it would be back on her mom.
I’m 26 years old and still feel like a kid. I’m going to be 27 in September, and by the time we were going to marry, I would be 28. She’s 5 years older than me, and feels the same. And honestly, I don’t think I’m going to mature enough to be “ready to marry” by 28, and she sure as crap won’t in 2012 either. I honestly don’t know how anyone could feel “ready to marry,” this thing is a huge step. Honestly, this may be better, as this only gives me a short time to get scared, as opposed to over a year to get scared. I can only build up so much fear in so little time. If I had till next year, I could end up a basket case.
So, we spoke with her pastor today, and set the date for the 23rd. So don’t expect me on during the 23rd or the eve of the 22nd in Northamurricaland, I’ll have lots to keep me busy.

Between having no familial emergency plan set up in case someone happens, never being able to get intact with people because they either don’t call back or I don’t see that they called until after they left a message hours ago and never really getting called by anything but wrong phone numbers & creditors in the first place, even with Pay As You Go it seems kinda wortheless.
Oh well. It’s just another “first world problem” and I suppose I shouldn’t care that much about cost given that it was hand-me-down anyway. It’s not like I’m one of those people who uses a “smartphone” as anything but a phone.
