SRK Lounge V. 16 The Politically Correct Edition...nah. Let's keep the midget jokes going Sovi3t!

It’s the greatest. Thanos is my BFF < 3

thanos reiggnnnsssss

I feel you. I live in a hick town of around 2000. Most people’s definition of cultured is McD’s drive thru. It’s disgusting.

Not that my friends are cultured, but at least we have a varied amount of interests, whereas most people there are only about Kenny Chesney, beer, McDonald’s, deer huntin’, and calling it a day.

I would at least move closer to SIU if I had to stay in southern Illinois if I had the choice. Right now, not exactly feasible, but I could see the benefits aside from being near better restaurants, such as my fiance being near a Korean community there.

That’s scary that you say that, because if people missed my post on the last pages of v. 15, my fiance’s pastor is trying to get our wedding moved up to…within the month. Warp speed, Mr. Zulu.

We’re considering it now, going to have a meeting with the pastor to address some concerns on our end. We were both content with our plan to wait a year until I get my bachelor’s, then tie the knot. But plans change. I used to be inflexible regarding my plans and arrangements, and whatever I plan goes, but at this point in life, I just try not to get worked up over it anymore, and if something is changing, just rationally sit and weigh both my plan and the changes out, and do what’s best from there.

What the hell? How’s someone else going to move your wedding up? If anything push it back. Have you already done invitations?

Yea why is HE so anxious to move the wedding up? It’s your guys day, not his.

AMC got a Charles Bronson movie on.

His woman was just killed.

He will not be letting that shit go unpunished.

GGPO bad guys.

(Oh, lol at the commercial break being right as Roy makes the most pissed off face ever. Envy is SO fucked.)

Wow. Outside of finally getting in contact with one particular person, this day has managed to sucked and be wasted even more than any other than I expected. Hurray.

I look forward to the abject failure that is tomorrow.

This is why cameras are awesome.

This is all kinds of awesome.

If it’s the scene I’m thinking of Envy is so far beyond fucked.

Oh God. Dammit SF4 AE. Pink Oni… I will never be able to unsee. :wasted:

Still really like the local crew I’m playing with. I still feel that I lose more than I win, but they’ve been a real help in helping me get better at SF4 and MvC3. The commentary during casuals is still top notch.

(Sees Rose Alts 2 and 3) “Did she get lost on her way to Disney Princess magazine?”

(Rufus Alt 2 vs Chun-Li Alt 2) “This shit is Dynasty Warriors!”

(Vanilla SF4 player seeing Dudley for the first time) “Why does this guy remind me of Rizal?”

And yes. Just after a week and a half of playing AE for extended periods of time, it’s definitely devolved to what you’d expect. I do want to keep learning though, I like my current chosen characters too much to completely quit. Plus I think I’ve learned some anti- Y/Y tech already.

(You always make the vaguest posts, mIRC.)

Might as well quote a bunch of shit as per usual given how I’m still wasting my life and FMA:B just went off.

At least everyone seems to agree that 90s Spider-man cartoon was awful. That’s all that’s really important about this worthless thing called life.

Where is this happening at in California? All of it? I ask because I don’t recall seeing it on the local news.

Hey, even if the space program is over, as long as those ONE BILLION CHINESE stay on the moon, then the world will massively benefit considering how much pollution China pumps out among other things.

You must be pissed off all the time then given how (American) people are just so fucking ignorant about everything, which is why…

Neil deGrasse Tyson will be fine. Even as “uppity” and smart as he is and as apparently popular as Twitter continues to get (sigh), most Americans couldn’t care less about science, even science that’s obviously going to be immediately beneficial, i.e. stem cell research.

You honestly think that most racist hicks are going to see that, much less understand or care about that, Manx? Pfft. Please. I’d find it a lot more likely that most of any online racism towards him probably comes from black people thinking he’s acts too white being smart, using proper English and other such “offenses”.

Meh, most things are anticlimactic. If something “big” had happened, then you would have talked about it without prompting, really.

I was more just wondering what happened now since it seems like every other month some “big” and bad happens between you and your now faster-than-light fiance. (Seriously, fuck that pastor. Figuratively, of course, though it’s not like I could stop you otherwise.)

That long? I wouldn’t be surprised if it ended next year should one of the current Republican field be elected. Kinda sad that of the current field, the only one who isn’t arguably batshit insane or utterly corrupt is the Mormon, who is so obviously out of touch with everything that he might as well be fucking Unus.

Pretty sure it is, but I’m not psychic, so I’m not certain. That and I’m going episode by episode, even though I’m aware of a few things that happen in advance, this being one of them.

Having your eyes burned out is not a good look.

Can’t wait till the Chinese rule the world.

You shut yo mouf

Think so

Question. How is Homosexuality bad for your health?
Also, I like how people will be taking their kids out of public schools. Maybe now they’ll actually get a good education.

So… another quake in Japan. 7.1. Small tsunami ensued.

Yeah, Damned. I think someone like Neil deGrasse Tyson would be under attack from black folks calling him too white, but at the same time, he has that “look” about him that says he could go UNR in the time it takes to split an atom.

That bill sounds ridiculous having not read it. Why the hell does it matter what sexuality the person is and whether they were disabled. If it’s important, it should be taught but I don’t understand how they’re going to shoehorn that in. I’m not sure what the history curriculum is like now but when I was in grade school it went by periods of time. Are they going to find some random might be LGBT and throw him/her in there? Stupid enough that they managed to segregate Black History from American History. Now this.

Long story short, some kid recently died in a stabbing. Video evidence shows that the person who killed him was acting in self defense.

Uncle/Father who started it all is a former troublemaker. Relatives swear up and down he would never do something like this. Petition online with people STILL in denial of his dumbassedry. They think the attendants should be locked up for some strange reason.

I get it, the son and father were the aggressors and paid for it dearly. I don’t see how the blatant racism and total idiocy is cool though.

I think it was 1911 that the idea of an atom composed of smaller constituent parts was first suggested, but nobody actually managed to divide those parts until 1938.

So, Neil deGrasse Tyson (the closest anyone will ever come to achieving mancrush status with me) will take 27 years to go UNR.

School.

(School? What’s that? Do we have those in America?)

Meh. Okay, I remember that bill being passed on the news, but I haven’t heard about it since that one time and I certainly haven’t read it. I’ll try to make it a point to read that link tomorrow, though, since I’m going to try force myself to go to sleep now. So thanks. I mean, it’s not like I’ll be doing anything else…

I got that much. I meant more that you’re vague when it comes to commentary because even with the second link, either of your “awesome” comments could still be interpreted as sarcasm given how delusional we agree with the petition is but how invasive and something cameras are. So your post could have meant two entirely different things and, given that you make a lot of vague, laconic comments, it’s usually impossible to tell where you stand on anything.

I’d like to have thought you were being sarcastic in the second comment as you apparently were, but I try not to assume things and I don’t really need anymore disappointment with humanity, so I just scratched head and wrote what I wrote.
