It’s a fair enough point that they don’t have to enjoy it to play it, but the way they talk about it, they seem to enjoy it. Maybe it’s even more that the way they don’t talk about it that causes me to think they enjoy it; I haven’t seen too many significant people actually bitching about the game, and that is more the basis for my original statement.

Only SF2 on Sega and the shitty MK games, thankfully I dropped SF4 for a period of time and really cracked down on my history and knowledge of older games.
I don’t remember parries annoying me as much as Ultras, but maybe if I were to pick up SF3 today my opinion would be different.

I still think 3S is my favorite FG of all time, but there was never a scene here for it. I’m very thankful for SF4 and all it’s done for the worldwide community. That, and I don’t actually think it’s that bad of a game, all things considered, and in some ways I actually prefer it to 3S. Not many, though.
I wish I had the time to dedicate, and local competition to drive me to play at a higher level than I do.
Ultras and comeback factors didn’t bug me before I started playing 3s, now I can’t stand them and I’d rather get wake up down parried all day long.

I’m finally finished catching up. Reading took a bit longer than I thought since I was eating and had to do things manually. I’ve noticed that for some reason it seems like half of the time, when it comes to embedded things, you’ll actually quote the entire image…which seems rather backwards for wanting to save bandwidth anything ever. I’m not exactly a fan of embedding stuff as it is, especially without having hard and fast limits on it, but it seems like that should be fixed ASAP. Same with animated smilies showing up as smilies instead of the code when quoted.
I was expecting the same of videos, but that doesn’t appear to be the case thankfully, or, at least, it wasn’t with that prank video mIRC posted.
However, I am rather annoyed that it seems like when quoting things, the url is auto-linked in at least some cases. That’s…somewhat problematic as are the other auto-coded things when editing now.

It’s weird having Animal Planet on in the background today (or just in general). Despite not normally watching it, I’ve come to gradually be interested in this River Monsters show. This is despite not really caring about fishes or rivers and thinking that Jeremy Wade is at the very least not entirely “there”.
