It would be nice to be one of those homunculus creatures from Full Metal. All of them have interesting and useful powers, and they all seem to have an advanced healing factor backing them up as a “basic” feature of their powers.
This world could be so much more interesting if humans could evolve to have a wide range of new abilities like you see in comics and cartoons. Every day there would be something incredible and awesome going on in the news. The military of various major countries could have some nice advancement of real super-soldier programs then as well. That would become the true Golden Age of mankind, even if it would lead to a self-imposed mass extinction from the resulting chaos… I’d love to be around in those times to see what happens.

Nah I think they’re done. The reason they added more yesterday is because I realized it was impossible to get them all.
You had a trophy for reaching 1k trophy points but even the 500 points for being 01, your max possible was still 910.
“OIC”. They/you guys should make some awesome trophies, like a “FIRST!” one that Giantbomb has, and then heavily enforce a rule that gets you an infraction if you post something like “FIRST!”. Good times will be had.

Yes and no. I guess as long as there’s no real way to compare your likes to someone else’s (aside from the trophies), it won’t as bad.

Balrog Ball looks like fun. I actually stopped watching the stream when they took it off and put on Goldeneye. That first GE match was so horrible.

Okay, so finally done going through the old thread. (I would have been done at least a half an hour ago if it wasn’t for the fact that Firefox slowed down mysteriously for that period of time. Damn memory hog.)
I still have to read through this thread, though, and I only just noticed towards the end of the last thread that I’m apparently on 50 posts per page instead of 40 now, so that’s going to take some getting used to still; I also have a bunch of (Youtube) links from the last post to check out. I don’t know. I kind of always thought Lust got screwed over power-wise, especially seeing what Pride can do (even given his restrictions since otherwise he’d be literally god-like/unstoppable) unless being extremely attractive and having That Voice™ were part of her powers. Greed’s power also seem rather weak given the whole healing factor (and the fact that Edward was outright negating it), but Greedling seems to be using them better and they actually stopped Pride’s (and Wrath’s) attacks, so…
Envy’s powers being “realistically” based on mass initially seemed like it would be a limitation to me since you’d have to make your original form a complete fat-ass/really bulky to get all you can out of its use. However, I then realized that he basically seems like he stay in his androgynous form indefinitely, so even if your original form becomes Precious Huge™ it doesn’t really matter.
Gluttony’s constant hunger seems like a nasty side-effect, though, and I don’t know if Sloth’s disposition is a side-effect of his powers either. The first anime’s Sloth with her water-body powers had pretty nice power-set, though.

I must admit the chaos would be nice, if only because it would be interesting to see how many people could use their powers in actually intelligent ways and how many dumb fucks would still manage to kill themselves. Of course, this is assuming that no one got anything that was like a complete Storybreaker power–even realizing that life is horribly unfair in reality–since otherwise the world just get completely dominated by that one person/group of people rather than end outright.

I’m not a jwong fan - I don’t like his arrogance, even though I have no qualms with saying he is the second best overall fighting game player in the world (nobody ever disputes second place).
However, he was against Michaelangelo’s Kabal in MK9 loser’s semis and Michaelangelo relied very heavily on an infinite blockstun loop to get by for pretty much the whole tournament. It’s already confirmed that a fix is on the way, but people seem to be okay with them allowing it in the tournament. So anyway, I wanted Justin to win, even though he was using Kung Lao (who I dislike :lol:)

MK9 is pretty great though, in reality. Of course, it will always get hate because it’s not Street Fighter, but when all the best FG guys in the world are playing it right now, it must be at least alright.
