The people that run Jimmy John’s are assholes. Today was customer appreciation day right? $1 sammiches. Me and some co-workers were gonna head there on lunch break. We get there and the line was so long people were damn near standing in the Pizza Hut across the street. We pull up, and these dick head employees have the drive through blocked off with their cars facing in the wrong direction. Customer appreciation my ass. Called one of the people I worked with and told him it’s a waste of time to head over there because the line is long as fuck and the drive through is closed. “Fuck it man I’m going anyway.” is what he said in reply. This dude showed up an hour after lunch break ended because he waited so long like an idiot.
Fuck you Jimmy Johns. I just wanted a sammich today.
I’m gonna go there tomorrow and order about 5 sandwiches with things taken off of them, then roll right past the window and leave.

You do get some “regional variation” in doctrines (wearing beards, style of dress, etc…), it’s all handed down from the top and pretty ordered.
That said, you do get some places that are more lenient than others. Example: at my sister’s congregation, it’s far more acceptable to drink. They are all rich as fuck and when you go to a get-together the alcohol flows. I love it. At my congregation, you would have a good half of the congregation in trouble for overdrinking and probably have a talk on it at the local meeting within a couple of weeks.
It’s pretty spotty. My favorites are the cases where entire congregations have to be broken up because of spouse swapping between the elders. 
That happened at a hall near me.
Edit ~ Oh, I also want to point out that most people are too stupid/not involved enough to even know what their actual even doctrines are! You’d be surprised how many people don’t even know what they say they believe in.
