Well this has been a hilarious day. One of the admins of my local fighting game scene’s facebook page said this today:
“It has been brought to my attention that I don’t take my Admin status on this page seriously enough. Even so far as to say that and I quote “I’m out of touch with reality.” I view that as a personal attack on my priorities and my intelligence. And to those claims I responded with “Let me tell you who is out of touch with reality, people who wine about not being able to get enough training in because of their jobs or education. People who genuinely train all the time to win EVO are out of touch with reality. People who view being a facebook admin as an actual JOB are out of touch with reality. I don’t know who these people are who have supposedly said I’m out of touch with reality but I am a carpenter who works ten hours a day.
