SF4 mods are tame compared to the shit you see going on in the nexus sites.

To think that you are one of the DmC defense farce, son, i am disappointed.
I’m not defending it as much as I just don’t understand the amount of hatred behind it. I just don’t really think it’s gonna be a bad game, but what do I know, maybe everything besides what the demo showed me will be shitty. It’s just been so long since a good DmC came out, I’m remaining optimistic. 
Because they already did young “I don’t give a shit about my appearance” Dante and he had a way more fun personalit. He told stupid jokes and made fun f his enemies in silly ways that made you role your eyes at how over the top he was. Current Dante reminds me of those annoying assholes from high school who thought they where better then everyone else cuz they listened to strange music and smoked in the stair wells. I don’t feel too compeled to sit through a game where Dante’s wittiest come backs are “FUCK YOU!” like come on.

He even does a better job of giving no shits about his clothes, he couldn’t even be bothered to put on a shirt or zip up his damn boots. But it goes farther then that. The enemies are uninspired in their look and lack anything resembling aggression. I personally hate having to hold the shoulder buttons to use other weapons, it’s fucking annoying, reminds me of Heavenly Sword which used the exact same system. Also now Mundus is a cooperate exec brainwashing our youth through TV and news stations and has a short temper? Mundus was cooler when he looked like a God and killed your ass for fuckin up without losing said temper.
Re: DmC, I don’t know who this Dino asshole is. Tony Redgrave was the alias Dante used before he stopped giving a shit about aliases and that was still marginally better than “Dino.”

You raise good points. Can’t really disagree with them. Yeah, most of the dialogue we’ve seen so far is pretty stupid. But still I don’t really want to press much judgement before it comes out. I did the same thing with Asura’s Wrath, and after actually playing it it’s now one of my favorite games and Asura is one of my favorite characters ever.
I really hope there are more weapons made available throughout the rest of the DmC campaign though. Also hoping for some large scale bosses and insane enemy evolution. Honestly if they manage to keep the feeling I had during the demo throughout the game, and add in the elements I previously mentioned, then most likely I won’t have any problems with this game. The enviorment really is just what gets me probably more than anything. I just love it. It literally feels like every physical aspect of that world is trying to kill you, and is pissed the fuck off.
On a somewhat random note though, did anyone else notice the Alice In Wonderland reference in the boss fight demo?
