Most people don’t care to define where fighting games stop and non-fighting games begin. They just loudly claim that Smash is a fighting game or complain that it isn’t, then commence to flinging their turds at each other. Arguing over whether or not something fits a certain definition is pointless if the definition itself has not been agreed upon or at least discussed.

QE - I really like playing Smash Brothers (both Melee and Brawl), it’s just really boring to watch unless I am there waiting in line to play it again (a relatively short line or bust)
QE 2 - People are close to completely losing the ability to like something but still be critical about that things flaws. There is no middle ground anymore. You either have to completely hate something or think it is the greatest thing ever. It’s the internets fault because peeps can go hang out with other peeps that think exactly like them and just shout about things they hate. I used to hate Salads, but now I am like “man, this is actually pretty good” Don’t be hatin’ Salads forever.
QE 3 - But VS, you hate blank! Lets’s use the Boondocks as an example. WHen episodes are good, I will be like “Man that was a good episode”, like the Basketball episode, the movie episode, or any episode with the gay rapper. A lot of it though is hamfisted bad black South Park. It’s also silly how a show that is almost completely built upon reflecting on current events in society has only had 4 seasons in 8 years. I can’t wait for the Treyvon Martin episode, that sure is going to resonate with this internet generation that gets over traumatic elementary shootings in a month.
Hell yeah, my new plague “Marriage” is that real shit… it just popped up with this news message: “Marriage to destroy humanity. Marriage has destroyed the world despite the world’s best efforts. I think it may be better starting off in 1st world countries… because they’re the first ones to try saving the world with work on cures. Earlier today on lunch break, I created a plague by the name of “Islam”, which also got close to destroying the world. I think I started that one in Australia.
So Mike Z just told me that there were 267 donators for the stick. That’s at least $4k for Breast Cancer Research that it helped raise.

Simple: It’s not a “goal”, but rather just a sign that you’re probably an otherwise worthless entity, at least if this “e-fame” is something you’re actively trying to cultivate and that you use as a measure of personal worth.
Then again, I’ve always said “fame” is a horrible thing even before social networks & the Internet made it so easy for people to become “celebrities” just over the website. Considering it’s basically legal to stalk people in modern society as long as you take pictures of them, i.e. are a paparazzi, being “famous” is not worth it in most instances. Just give me “riches” and I’d be more than fine without having any damn “fame”.

Bullying’s pretty much almost always done by a member of the “majority”, especially if it’s not in person. Considering how many people like MLP:FiM for…whatever reason and how much bullying I’ve heard goes on in that community both within itself and towards its detractors, if bullying is any type of factor here, then it probably is part of the reason that game exists, but as an active agent, not an absence.
